Post Paint Shop Pro with me on a USB?
Recently i've been mostly using foreign computers to do modding but the most important part that I make my sprites awesome with is the Paint Shop Pro 9. Now since that thing is only available on my own laptop back home, I tend to be quite helpless when spriting with any other different software since PSP is simply the best for me and there is no PSP on the other PC's I might be using.

So what I want is to install Paint Shop Pro 9 on my USB flash drive and use it on ANY computer I might get on.

I have a USB flash drive boasting my mods, experiments, backups and ♥♥♥♥. It has the capasity of 2gb so PSP9 would virtually fit inside it. But the thing is, when I installed PSP9 on my laptop, it created some folders in My Documents. And maybe even did some wierd registry crap. So I dont really know if its possible to do that or not if it will have dependancies for the pc on which I installed the PSP9 on the USB.

If its possible though, it will boost my modding alot.

Some flash drives can have software instaled directly to them. They have some software that allows it.

You might have to buy a new flash stick. Look into http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceedo or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U3.

You could do it manually as well...

No you cant. You cant just install software to USB drive that isn't in one of those formats (or a competing format). If you could do it manually, why would this software exist?

The problem is that installing to F:\ (or whatever drive your computer recognizes the stick as) is that sure, the files get copied to the drive, but the registry files and local file structure do not get installed to the flash drive. If you go to plug it into a computer and try to run it, it wont even start becase necessary information from the registry is not present.

Alenth's idea would work if you were installing software to the flash drive to free up space on your -home- computer. it will not work for a "foreign" computer.

Oh ♥♥♥♥. I was wrong.

The real name of the stick was SanDisk Cruzer Micro Skin.
That one didnt have U3. Damnit. I guess I'll just have to buy a new one.
