That is unless you just force the Steam store to load the US version after logging into your regional version of the site and then buy it from there. Then it runs fine with no consequences.

What do you guys think of the Wii-U?
It's proving to be quite a piece of crap.

Not really, just developers not used to new hardware yet.

I mean, the first PS3 and the first XBOX360 games look like ♥♥♥♥ too.

I was talking about the ports.
But the ports will always be horrible.

And the only good game out for Wii U right now is that racing game that includes JSR.

The word "port" is used mostly these days to describe a badly ported game though, so that's no suprise.

What do you think of people calling the Wii-U the next generation console?

Well, it IS.

Well, the Wii-U is a console so it's by its very nature somewhat inferior to computers...

But on an objective basis looking at it only by itself, it looks like it will be good for the exact same stuff Wii has been good for all along.
Family/younger oriented games along with a couple of gimmicky games now and then.

The only thing Nintendo is really doing absolutely right at the moment is filling a niche that other companies have only barely infringed upon.

They're also trying to get back into the hardcore gaming market. They've got a proper controller, the new Calladoody is on Weeoo, Bayonetta 2 is gonna be there...
Etcetera. I think it's shaping up to be a pretty snazzy console.

What Nintendo really needs (and what they've lacked since the N64) is solid games from 3rd party developers. I can't really remember anything stellar on the GC that was 3rd party, same for the wii. N64 though, that was good times.

I don't see why they want to move into a market they already can't compete in due to the level of attachment gamers have to their favorite consoles, it'll be hard to gain new customers from said hardcore gaming market.
