I asked my friend to get some dxm syrup for me but he didnt know better and got the guafenesin stuff and I hadn't been able to get any good drugs for a month so I just took my chances with it. Its maybe 4x as bad to down as straight vodka, the taste lingers so terribly that I actually threw up a few minutes after drinking it. Even worse, my parents found the two measuring caps for the bottles while searching through the trash and are threatening to not send me to college (2 days from now) because of this. Fortunately, I've made up a highly incredible story involving finding some random syrup bottle caps lying around and throwing them away, so even though they don't believe me, they can't really justify doing something as extreme as ♥♥♥♥ up my chances for future success.

I think the logic is that they consider him to be doing something that will destroy his future, so they take away his prospects for the future to make him realise that he does care about his future, and motivate him to stop being a drug abuser.

Or they're worried that if he can't behave properly ("properly" being subjective) at home, under their supervision, that he'll get himself into worse ♥♥♥♥ when he's alone at college.

The threat is all the matters. I doubt they'd actually ruin his future like that, but the possibility of it is what's effective.

Alright, so last night I ate the rest of my chocolate shrooms. Before I ate them, I drank an entire cup of lemon juice cause I heard it massively potentiates it. And goddamnn were they right. I ate them around 12, and played GTA until about 1. It started to hit me then, so I left for my friend's house, where we smoked 2 bowls of fire. Past that, it went batshit insane. I only remember bits and pieces, but apparently I just walked off, and started wandering around the streets trying to get back to my house. And it was crazy. The streets were purple, all the lights were blue, I had consistent open eyed visuals, and I was constantly forgetting where I was. At one point I thought I had evolved into some sort of mufti-consciousness being, and nothing really mattered, since everyone was me. I looked at the shroom trip scale, and I think I hit at least a 3.

So my mom won't let me try shrooms, says she wants me to be older. Any legitimate reasons for this, or is this just a case of parents being parents?

I turn 16 in a month. I don't get it; she let me smoke spice, which is MILES more harmful than shrooms.

Protip: Do them anyway. Do them with friends or something. It's stupid to be doing them alone anyway, and if you're with friends you can just say you're sleeping over or something.

Yes, psychedelics can have immense impact on your psyche, and the younger you are the less developed your mental self is the more chance for horrible ♥♥♥♥ to happen.

If you've never tripped before and you decide to trip alone just make sure she's home and knows how not to make everything horrible if you do freak out. Tripping with people who are sober is weird and unpleasant, tripping with friends can be amazing. Judgement call.
