I highly doubt MLP would be brought into Kingdom hearts if Hasbro was bought out.

Unless Square Enix believes that half of their audience are prepubescent teenage girls that enjoy playing Action-RPG video games.

On a side note, Holy ♥♥♥♥ Halo 4's campaign ending gets emotional.

Ughh, call me a bungie elitest, but I won't be buying your CoD with energy shields. You know they didn't even make a legendary edition, the bastards.

Although there's apparently a feature where your multiplayer hologram will teabag enemies. So that's neat

Contrary, this is why it's taken so long for Kingdom Hearts 3. They've just been waiting for the right moment to buy out Star Wars.

I was thinking that in the reality show we could have those stupid challenges to win additional prizes like cars and tickets to an exotic country, but instead, we could win computer parts, money on Steam and things along those lines.

The challenges could vary from eating insects and drinking swamp water to physical intensive tests to logical problem solving to beauty contests.

We could even make the first reality end with the final challenge of having to build a boat, but having to find all the pieces scattered through the island. The gasoline would be the last thing to get, it would be hanging inside an active volcano and there would only be enough for one of the boats.

Man, that'll work great.

you mean dorf fortress right

There's a distinct difference between a dwarf and a dorf: If chained to the floor, the dwarf will react like a human would, while the dorf will admire the restraint for its fine construction and be happy about it.

glorious dorfhood

I've been playing Sword of the Stars II recently. Boy, they fixed this game and now it's really good.

And I've been taking some screenshots.

That's the SFS Afterworld, a Dreadnought, currently serving in the Ninth Garrison Fleet stationed at Barnard's Star. It's currently under repair after a dual with a Silicoid Queen. That smaller ship to the lower left is an unnamed cruiser. If you look near the star, just above the bridge, you'll see a shot in motion. It's a Lexington class, designed by myself. At the time of it's creation, the Lexington class was start of the art with new mass driver weapons, improved alloys and refined Node drive. The class was nick named "Four Eyes" due to the poor sensor suite onboard. The entire Lexington series is in for a refit soon, with hopes of upgrading the weapons and sensors. Sadly, during that battle, Admiral Mikhail Nagovovich was killed when the command module on his cruiser exploded. He was one of my finest admirals, leading four campaigns, all of them successful. But he died the way he lived, at the command of a starship.

Here you have another Lexington class, the SFS Prometheus, going into battle with two other Lexington class vessels, the SFS Illusion and the SFS Angel. The Angel is off screen, and the illusion is in the upper right. In the upper middle is the SFS Prometheus, the seventh Lexington. In the foreground is another unnamed cruiser, acting as extra point defense.

And this...This is a random encounter with the SFS Leviathan, first of the Leviathan class ships. It was stolen during a raid on the Argos Fleet Yards at the beginning of the Sword of the Stars 2 storyline. Now, it's a ghost ship, randomly attacking colonies throughout the galaxy. Thankfully, I've not encountered it since two matches ago, and hopefully the dreadnaughts might be able to damage it enough to cause it to withdraw from the battle.

You guys realize this is actually a terrible game with nothing to offer but autistic /tg/ rejects that think they're gods, right?
Azakan displays this perfectly.

People who play Dwarf Fortress for the building aspect obviously are kidding themselves, or have never played a real building game, let alone a game with a physics engine.
People who play Dwarf Fortress for the survival aspect have poor judgement in what constitutes a good survival game.

Praising the game for its simplicity in its graphics (or lack thereof), is just as bad as praising a game for a gimmick, and not the game itself.

There are better challenges. There are better ASCII games. There are better building games. There are better survival games.

If you're seriously interested in good survival/building games, please search for new games. Otherwise, it's just a pathetic attempt at indie cred. (so obscure and indigestible, guys)

I don't play the game for 'indie cred'. I play it because it's fun, simple as that.
I enjoy being rather bad at the game. I enjoy the multitude of challenges the game constantly throws at you. And if it gets too easy, I can always start a megaproject.
Or piss off every civilization.
Or embark in a crazy hard location.

Being a video game hipster is bad, and people shouldn't do that.

But I haven't found any other game that would combine all of those.
