How hard is it to get a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl game together? I have the game and I'm loving it but I haven't tried online yet, how functional is it?

Re: Weekly Pick-up Games
Urgh, I tried to get STALKER online working.
That was a horrible mess, don't bother, some patches broke connectivity in some setups, it fixed it in others, and at the end of the day when I finally got it working I didn't find it very fun.

Both games looks rather good to me but I haven't had a chance to try them yet. Trouser, when would be a better time for you. And feel free to suggest another server and we'll see how it works for the rest of us.

Re: Weekly Pick-up Games
How about 193.33.186.234:27017 at 4 PM CST?
Still 10:00 PM for me but it's easier that 1:30 AM as I won't suck harder than a vacuum cleaner due to tiredness.

Re: Weekly Pick-up Games
Well, that was fun, though everyone left suddenly...
Anyway, does it have to be weekly, or can we do something on the weekend as well?

MNH is the one arranging this, he has the power to make announcements on the steam group.

I know I don't have big status on here, but may I suggest Shogi? I personally find it more enticing than Chess, considering how you can play a captured piece for your ownself, and the promotion system. www.playok.comlook for the shogi part. Also, inb4weeaboo

Re: Weekly Pick-up Games
Lol you guys don't need me to play games or whatever. The thread is entitled Weekly Pick-up Games. If you'd like me to make something you've planned out in advance an event on Steam, I'll be happy to do that too.
I'm going to create a new thread with a poll here in a minute or two. If mods want to merge the two threads, that's a-ok with me.
