Re: Post Your Own Pictures.
Used fast cars are usually not worth the money. If they're fast they've been driven at ridiculous speeds for most of their life.
And don't blow all your money on your first car. I can almost guarantee you that you will burn out the gearbox in a real short time (unless you go for automatic (like most american pussy's)).
Keep away from big block engines. They may look good and enlarge your penis, but the weight to power ratio is probably ridiculously low and the you'll be doing 5 gallons per 60 miles.
Don't go for anything under 4 cylinders. 3 cylinders may sound good for economy, but it actually isn't, since you'll have to mash your foot to the floor to do 60 and burn a lot more fuel.

Re: Post Your Own Pictures.
I don't know ♥♥♥♥ about cars, so is there anything that would seem inherently wrong with this choice of automobile? Well, aside from the 'do not get a fast car' bit. http://wausau.craigslist.org/cto/2269455101.html

Re: Post Your Own Pictures.
Well, it's a car with almost 30 years, has a big block, the owner messed with the engine and was made for speed. So yeah, it's oh so very wrong.

Granny cars are always good choices, since they were more than likely driven quite slowly and well taken care of. They also have more than decent engines, so you'd be able to get some decent gas mileage and some punch if you needed to.

That Deville probably gets shitty gas mileage. EDIT: Correction: It does get shitty gas mileageFoiL wrote: My only only advice is to get a rear wheel drive car. You'll thank me when doing corners in a rainy day. /facepalm Maybe when its raining, consider slowing down? Occi, go find a used honda. They are almost impossible to break, are nearly idiot-proof to drive (even in manual configuration), get above average gas mileage, and can be cheaply repaired due to the amount and universality of parts. Either that or a Toyota. If you want to go cheap, find used ones.

Re: Post Your Own Pictures.
That was sarcasm thor. Rear wheel drive in the rain is an open invitation for some drifting. Like I have to do on my van at any speed over 50kph, in order not to hug a wall or a tree.
I don't know if used 190D mercedes are common in the states, but I'll probably getting one in the future. They're usually used as cabs around here, and they last, well, forever. I've seen some that date back to early 80's, have been used has cabs all their life and never needed any overhaul. They can be pretty damn economical if you get a version with a proper gearbox and their previous owners will be old people, so you can bet your ass that it'll be in a pretty darn good condition.
If that fails I fully agree with thor. Hondas and toyotas will last as long as you want them to last. Just don't bee a tool and buy a honda civic, or some ♥♥♥♥ like that.

They're car manufacturers. They have trucks, but they also have compacts and all.

Shhhh, I'm not very car savvy. How about this? It's a Toyota, and it's the only non-rusted/dented non-truck Toyota I could find.

How many times do I have to remind you people that I'm 15? Thanks for the suggestions, though.
How do you know it's from a dealer? I didn't see anything about a dealership on that page.

Ah...I don't really go on Craigslist all that often.
Out of curiosity, is the MG designed for short people or something?

No it's British. We build everything in practical sizes.

Practical sizes for people who are 5 feet tall. Although I'd kill for an original mini cooper, even if I'd probably have to ride with my head out off the window.

Re: Post Your Own Pictures.
British cars are, overall, pretty awful. Their only good points are usually the looks and how they make you feel.
