This appears to be the week for me receiving invites to game Betas
And I won't even have time to play Planetside 2 because MoP is out tomorrow!

I'm still going to rub it in your faces though

Seems like people are kind of torn on it. A lot of the complaints seem to be about the controls and camera, so it sounds like those haven't changed much. I can't say I'm surprised that they didn't fix those issues, although it would have been nice if they polished some of the rough edges while they were HD-ifying it.
There are others who have nothing but good things to say about it, too, although a lot of that seems to be nostalgia speaking.
It's been years since I've played the game, personally. I was considering buying it on Steam, although I still have the game and a Dreamcast sitting downstairs, so maybe I should just go play that.

I've never played it personally! I own JSRF, but never the original. I enjoyed it on the Xbox and they probably should've made an HD version of it in my humble opinion. But I shouldn't speak without knowing both sides.

I've always wanted to play JSRF, but I don't have an Xbox!
From what I've heard, it's a lot easier, but the controls and camera are better.

Explains why the steam store is down.

And yeah, Starbound looks incredible. No matter what the wait is, it will be worth it.

Haha I managed to grab it before it went down, from what I can tell of the demo, it seems good. I like how there is a tutorial mission, and then they through you in a mission with almost no help. To easy though, I lost no-one. Then again, it is a demo, so it has to appeal to more people and not just the people who want a challenge.

Level 22, and I was about to level up, too.

And now all I can do is wait for technical support to maybe help me.
