i have an IQ of +160, i scored in the 99th percentile in math, i dropped out of school for lazieness, and then got my GED in about 3 weeks. dont assume that GED = not smart.

And I got a 35 on the ACT and got a perfect score on the math level 2 subject test. I assumed that you either weren't smart or weren't in high school, not as a judgement of what I see but just that you apparently dropped out of high school. Scholarships are generally aimed towards high school seniors, but there are a number of scholarships for just writing an essay to be judged.
Anyway, it's about time we got back on topic. Like, now.

What a pity your writing style does not seem to match your "IQ". IQ does not mean someone spells good, or knows allot, IQ is purely the mental capacity to do things with. IQ is problem solving, not memorization of grammatical rules, or math equations. IQ is how fast you think, how fast you can solve problems, and how well. a very large number of 'intelligent people' are knowledgeable but have lower IQ scores than you think, and there are just as many people with high IQs that aren't as knowledgeable. personally i am knowledgeable on an extremely large number of topics, but not knowledgeable enough to be 'above average' on any given topic. i'm a jack of all trades. in short Grammar =/= IQ

I never said that. I simply said that it's a pity that your grammatical talent does not match your ability to think.
On topic - I'd get myself a new violin, a nicer violin with which to torture the masses with.

Crack. Miles, we all know that you're a lying dipshit. Your IQ is not higher than Steven Hawking's; stop being a douche. Adults are talking.

A Violin? i like the violin, that's not torture. get a violin, an accordion, a keytar, and a bagpipe. play them all at once. that would be torture for the masses. now that i re-read the first page. Unlimited funds? i could abuse that. I'd start a multi-trillion dollar corporation (you did say, unlimited in the first post) and use it to shape the world in my own image. the legal drinking age is now 19, smoking bumped up to 19. no more government, i'd buy it out and own the national debt while using those under my employ to subvert the government into collapse. and become a corporate government. you buy our food, you buy our clothes, TVs, cars, games, etc. we give you police and firefighters and a military for free, and an almost unlimmited job market. then i'd base parts of the world on a mix of the druids, and ancient Greece (NO! NOT ROME! NO VOMITORIUMS! BAD CONSTANTINE! NO!) then i'd run around in a toga or something and just feed the homeless. and if i had a bad day, i'd blow up mecca and blame it on the chinese.

So basically, you'd disregard all principles of economy, plunging humanity into darkness. Way to go. Your unlimited money would become TOILET PAPER. Near the end of the Civil War, the Confedlers (sic) printed a metric ♥♥♥♥ of money, and it was still worthless. Your giant corporation would basically ♥♥♥♥ up the world and end civilization as we know it. Once more, way to go.

Near the end of the Civil War, the Confedlers (sic) printed a metric **** of money, and it was still worthless. Your giant corporation would basically **** up the world and end civilization as we know it. Once more, way to go. if i had unlimited funds, not my company. besides, unlimited funds means unlimited resources. i'd un-do all the **** that's ALREADY WRONG WITH THE WORLD. Microsoft, GWB Jr., racist cops, a war against a religious group, in the name of a god that less than 50% of the national population worship, while calling them 'terrorists' so noone brings that up. I would end all of that. I would give jobs to the jobless, and provide food for the starving. and you interpret that as bringing the world into darkness. the only reason i'd undermine the government, is because if there was a government, they'd tell me 'no' and lump me with the terrorists, because i was fighting against the war itself, on that scale. i would be a threat to there plan. funny how in order to not be called a terrorist for standing up for what you believe in, you have to undermine that which would call you such. anyway, this isn't a topic about my ideals, or what you think they would cause. the thread is for what would i do with unlimited funds, i said it. you just had to say it would ruin the world. you dont know what i'd do. there's no evidence for if the druids way worked, after all, the christians just came in and killed them all. and Greece DID work, untill war broke out and a bunch of slave-owning rich pricks threw enough numbers at them to drown in blood. i'd be creating a combination of that. also: the unlimited funds had to come somewhere. it's not magical POOF more money is in the world and its mine, it would be POOF, i have lots of money, and it all dissapeared from *somewhere* hell, if i suddenly had all the loose change that gets lost in everyone's couch, which none of them would miss, i'd be a billionaire.

Re: What would you do if you won the lottery?
Well, it still wouldn't work very well simply because of inflation. If you have unlimited American dollars, then everyone in the US now literally have no liquid money whatsoever; just their non-monetary investments, and your money would be worth squat. If you had unlimited amounts of every single currency in the world, then all the governments would start printing different money and all the money you apparently have wouldn't be accepted by anyone. If you had unlimited amounts of every currency now and to come, then everyone would go back to a barter system or somesuch. If you had unlimited resources in general, then you would never live long enough to accomplish anything. Humanity naturally rebells against ultimate authority, no matter how benign you think you are. Others might not see "good" the same way that you do. And no, we're not speaking out against your ideals, but rather, that they simply cannot be accomplished without great harm to pretty much everybody. Fixing things is a great deal more difficult than taking a wrench to it and twisting; side-effects would pile up exponentially, and every time you plug up one of those, still more are made.
Also, age? Putting both the smoking and drinking ages to 19 seems remarkably like the "I think I'm pretty much the age at which I am mature" syndrome.

actually i dont think 18 is old enough to start killing yourself slowly. at least wait a year after your an adult. also i thought smoking and drinking should be the same age. and as for being mature, i've been mature for a long time. just more knowledgeable.

Miles, if you could solve problems quickly and correctly(Which a high IQ indicates), you would be able to choose between your and you're correctly. You're not older than 15. I guarantee it.
Post pictures or I'm right.
