Yikes, bought this game a long time ago, then I got it again through Humble bundle because I switched over to linux. How about an update to bring the Linux version up to date? If I promise cookies can I get my update? And then I see this, I was already fooled by the omgubuntu joke, But if this is real I am a little saddened it is so expensive, oh well, hopefully the added funds from everyone else (THANK YOU ALL!) will bring me my update!

Whether this falls under today's curse. I found reading this thread to be immensely funny and have to go get a look at this Elite madness. It might be sane to get your hands on some upgrades. Are there any pointers towards improved campaign framework, or is the DLC supposed to be a lead-in for having a lot of faction options when it is ready?

Thanks Duh! Having received all the benefits of Elite, I must say it is totally worth it. Watching Data's computer is absolutely riveting. If I could buy a second package, I would without hesitation.

Is anyone else with Elite having trouble downloading the DLC pack? It took awhile for my payment to go through, so is it just the slow server that is doing this? I really want to try out some of this stuff.

Nah, it worked fine for me, but livefeed from Data is pretty laggy.

It's serious. I'm trying out the new campaign right now. The fact that the NPC's still cannot act on their own bothers me, but I'm sure that they will be able to soon enough.

Where do I input my debit card for payment? I tried sticking it in the CD slot for my computer, but it doesn't seem to be accepting it.

I've just downloaded the Whitebot faction DLC. Oh god, it came with it's own mini-campaign, scenes, and the prototype "Techs" mechanic.

I am more than satisfied over Elite status. Also, Data's PC has the coolest wallpaper ever.

I feel like your parents may have had a similar problem when conceiving you. At any rate, the new DLC is actually pretty cool. A couple of minor bugs, but nothing that won't be ironed out soon.
