Re: Art Dump I usually grab a base colour from a reference picture of what I am trying to draw, tinker with it a bit and then get the shades through trial and error >_>
If I don't use a reference picture I have to do the whole thing through trial and error but I am colour blind so this doesn't always work, I coloured a batch of red, white and purple Union Jacks once when I was in Primary School :)

I just have protanopia so orange/red/pink/brown/green/purple/blue tend to blur together a bit

If I had to choose from a list instead of edit numerical values they wouldn't turn out so good
