Re: The Lounge
I've said before that all my dreams are boring and I'm not kidding. Even in interesting settings my dreams are bogged down by mundanity.
This morning I was dreaming there was some sort of big apocalypse, and we were all getting ready to ship out of the ruins of my neighborhood into a do or die adventure. I spent most of the dream nicely folding clothes so they'd fit efficiently into my bag. I remember the most interesting item was a worn pack of bicycle playing cards (you know, the generic kind). We got to walking a bit but down the block I remembered I had forgot my phone charger or something. I turned around to go back and get it but then I had to get up for work.
I remember being disappointed as it was the most interesting dream I'd had in a while.
I feel like I miss out when people talk about all the cool dreams they had. My dreams are less wacky then my real ♥♥♥♥ life.

Re: The Lounge
Well are we talking single-powers here or one-power-plus-associated-necessities or just the superman route HAVE AS MANY POWERS AS YOU FEEL LIKE
Single power means: Oh, I can go super speed. Unfortunately nothing in my body is capable of accelerating to a thousand miles an hour instantly so I just kill myself every time I move.
One plus associates: The ability to travel through time also comes packaged with travel through space, since everything is constantly in motion at mind-blowing velocities. The earth, the sun, the entire galaxy; ♥♥♥♥ adds up. So really, time travel, even time stopping, necessitates FTL space travel.
Superman: Oh ♥♥♥♥ you be slightly original.

Gravity.
Nothing like making a enemy die from the weight of his own skeleton.

Electromagnetism. It can do an utterly absurd amount of things, being a basic force of the universe and whatnot. There are extremely few situations which couldn't be solved with a powerful enough application of electromagnetic manipulation.

The ability to create an isolated area. I'll have the ability to change all aspects inside said area.

Then, I ended up killing someone and got, like, these boss tentacle protrusions. So I could just have tentacles erupt out of my back and arms 'n' all that. I also got some hellish powers that let me summon abominations from portals and I could travel through darkness and all this other bad-ass stuff. I basically ended up some monstrous demigod of all that was terrifying. While not nearly as powerful as either of the aforementioned superpowers, it'd be really fun to be some superhuman godlike entity of fear. I could, like, have my own cult. Slightly edited, to make it less annoying for people like me to read. Well, anyways... This sounds a whole lot like Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. Also, time manipulation (start, stop) Why? Because I want to be like Homura and steal weapons from military bases. Why would I ever need them? Well, maybe if there's some sort of weird alien or something... But, seriously. If I was living in a place full of people with super powers that are probably crazy, then I'd choose Imagine Breaker. It's the ability the main character from To Aru Majutsu no Index has. Very effective for protecting yourself in a (probably) half-crazed, super power-filled world. If the world isn't like that, then a copying and morphing (things that are not me) ability. It would be pretty awesome to be able to use absolutely any kind of weapon or skill if you have enough energy... I just realized that it would use up more energy then I would ever have to do any of the things I was thinking of. Okay. Assuming I am able to copy a skill succesfully, all the ones I really want are impossible for me to do without using some sort of magical power or something. Actually, nevermind. I change it to "the ability to master somethig that I see and be able to do it perfectly a little after." (The End) In both ways. You probably won't get the reference. Whatever. This is really the end.

Yes, because you have every right to tell someone their posts are annoying. I'm really losing my patience with you, bro.

Okay, okay. I'll try a little harder to make my posts short. Also, at... Ummm... Whoever typed in the thing about creating an isolated area. Oh. Sothe. Okay. Sothe... Wow I said your username too many times. Well, anyways, I want to know where you got the idea from. I can currently think of two things right now, but they're most likely different from what you got the idea from. Well, if you just came up with it, then it would be your head and I would be way off. Going to end here as to not annoy everyone who reads this. (Hopefully.) If it's not the problem, then I would be sad.

He was one of the three new psychics Genkai was training. He pretty much created his own small universe, it was pretty cool.

Re: The Lounge
With time travel, you can also twist it into mind reading (say what they were going to say) and teleportation (stop and walk somewhere), so as far as functionality goes time travel is pretty good, but Lizard is right flying is badass.
I'll tell you what, though. I was once asked a horrible question once. Would you rather live forever, or live in a world where pokemon were real? Thoughts?

Re: The Lounge
Neither. I think a world with Pokemon would be chaotic and hazardous, and I would never want to live forever.
