Besides that small nitpick: The movie looks good, I think I might rent it when it comes out on dvd. So, don't spoil the plot for me. Or do spoil it, I don't really care. But yeah, I want to see it.

Its worth seeing on the big screen at least once, just see it when tickets are cheaper (i have a theater near me that mon-thurs, tickets are always 4.50 all day, and fri/sat/sun, its 4.50 before 6, unfortunately there's only ever like 2 showings before 6 of anything. its worth it.

Miles lives in Cleveland, Ohio and has theatres near him that sell tickets at cheap prices. Not sure if they're matinee or what.

Cleveland Ohio? lol, I think I know what theater he's talking about. I forget what it's called, but I've been there a few times.

Ridge park square on weekdays & before 6 on weekends is 4.50, otherwise there like 8.50-9 bucks. and if you know where it is, then you probably live out here. thats frightening in its own way.

No one cares about your theater. This thread isn't about your theater, it's about District 9.

Excellent movie. I particularly liked the scenes of the two escapes from the gang members. But they entirely ruined the RPG scene with the previews. The moment I saw he was carrying a RPG I just thought "well, that's gonna happen".

Watching it at home is a waste. I saw it in theaters. It's all you said and more. A sequel would be a damning sin upon the Human race.

Excelent movie. Wikket? Vicktit? Whatever his name was goes down as the most abused character in film making.

But he's so adorable, you can't help but love him as an anti-hero.

I like how they developed his character from a bumbling idiot to a desperate fugitive. He was quite likable.
Though I disliked how ridiculously evil the MNU was.

Re: Stay out of District 9!
I ♥♥♥♥ love this movie, it had action, comedy, scifi, drama and was on an epic scale. It was so good that at one point I almost cried. And I've only cried to 4 movies so far. Cast Away, The Lion King, Grave of the Fireflies and Pay it Forward.
