I was trying to uninstall something while installing AVG. Apparently the control panel uninstallation thing isn't totally safe yet. Haven't started it back up yet, haven't had time.

deathbal101 wrote: Kallemort wrote: $1000 to Duh102 FIXED Hey, thanks I have one thing to say. ME was the absolute worst piece of "release" software I've ever used. It is and was a lot worse than most of the beta ware I come across. The only reason I kept a copy was to play some old games that XP broke, but then I downgraded it to 98 when I got sick of the BSoD's every five seconds. So far, Win7 is to Vista as XP was to ME. Except replacing annoying popups and driver compatibility instead of BSoD's.

Re: Windows 7
So.... How does CC run on it?
I got the System burned to a disk, but I don't feel like breaking my operating system and repairing it (with a 3rd party partitioning program) and restoring all my program files and the whole bit just to create a new partition. (And the one that comes with Vista says that I have only like 8 gigs of shrink space before it runs into an unmvovable file.)
I can wait 'till I have access to one of my newer computers.

Re: Windows 7
You can only boot off of your physical C drive, so if D is a partition of your physical C drive then yes. If not, then no. You'll have to resize the C partition to give another partition of about 16Gig (MS's recommended size for the partition, I found you could probably get away with 12Gig).

Thanks for the reply, do you think I will NEED a CD to burn Windows 7 too? Is it possible to use Windows 7 without having to burn it to a CD then install it?
