The campaign is freaking long.

I haven't been playing very much, I've killed some dealers for L.J, and killed the "rat" for psycho faustin.
I really want to unlock the ability to buy guns from L.J for cheap.

That'll help you for like, a day. You get so much money later it won't matter because all you spend on are weapons, food, paint jobs, and other minimal crap. You steal anything worth over 5k so money never really is an issue.

First off, even mentioning school shootings regardless of actual relation, will not work, so ignore that. Secondly, that poor, insane son of a ♥♥♥♥♥ had a name, Seung-Hui Cho.
Third, the best thing to do is admit to the level of content in the game- don't try to hide it. Then state clearly that a game is not reality, and simply because you can shoot up drugs/kill prostitutes/have sex with prostitutes/have sex with drugs/shoot up prostitutes does not mean that you will, even in the game. You have to emphasize that you are indeed mature enough for the content- because it's just a game. Put emphasis on the fact that it is a game, and if at all possible, emphasize (but not too much) your disgust at the sort of person who would commit such heinous acts in real life, outside of a simulated parody of the world.
Of course, if you're under 14, you're on your own, because if they have a lick of good sense you aren't playing.

Really, my first video game I played ever was Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
After My older brothers tought me how to hold an SNES Controller.
I can handle violent videogames.
Video games are not the problem.

But GTA4 is so much fun.
You must be awesome/mentally stable to play.

You can't handle spelling and English lanugage mechanics, though. It's Really Annoying When You randomly Capitalize words. just Saying.
Also, I'm not very mentally stable or awesome by anyone's standards, yet I could play the game without it affecting me. The secret to avoiding the game ♥♥♥♥ with your life is moderation, as with everything else. And yes, you have one point- crazy ♥♥♥♥ will be crazy ♥♥♥♥.

Also, Venn- Hot Coffee hadn't been revealed yet, so sexual content wasn't a worry. And parents don't worry about killing a prostitute, they worry about killing a prostitute.
