Post Re: Dwarf Fortress
I had a wierd thing.
Some time ago in DF a Human liason came. He got killed. By acident. By a goblin. Poor goblin.
Anyway, some time later (2-3 years) an annoucment: YOU ARE UNDER SIEGE! i think "oh yeah goblins, more loot :D" but then i see what? HUMANS i think "what the heck? why did they attack me? was it because of the damn liason has died ? by an acident? meh..." so yeah, they tried to starve me to death. Fortunatly i had cataputls and ballistas to take care of those persy humans. Now i have so many things, i could buy a whole human city together with those unborned babies :D
So my question is, did they attack me due to the death of the liason?

Post Re: Dwarf Fortress
I just spent half an hour getting a bunch of meat shields companions together, and another training throwing, and now my adventurer has killed his first giant and BOOM the ♥♥♥♥ game crashes.
D:
Is there some way for me to change the leveling rate of skills?

New 39f is out.
Worldmap migrants have been made proper.

http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves

Additions:
(*) allowed basic expansion of 80x25 grid
(*) gave world gen refugees entities and realized them as moving groups on the map after world gen
(*) added notification and history event for reaching summits of peaks and volcanos in adv mode

Minor Changes:
(*) added notification for low migration seasons
(*) added object of worship to religion view in legends
(*) made detailed map export respect new peak heights
(*) locally steepened peaks a bit
(*) added world name to top of history file

Bug Fixes:
(*) fixed crash involving lava pushing objects
(*) stopped many bottomless pits from having their upper portions filled with lava
(*) made reclaim dwarves start with the proper civilian labors enabled
(*) fixed problem causing just good or just evil params not to function
(*) stopped message spam from pit/pond/chain/cage jobs where the animal is inaccessible
(*) stopped note entry from conflicting with a few of the keys
(*) made constructed ramps stick around even if you dig out the walls near them
(*) fixed erroneous upper cap on detailed temperature export values
(*) fixed problem that caused peaks to be raised in flat areas during erosion
(*) suppressed erroneous "Zeroth" text for non-finalized history collections in dwarf-mode art descriptions
(*) made usable/unusable option appear when metals are selected in weapon/armor stockpiles
(*) fixed spacing problem with related hist fig race display
(*) fixed problem with the evil/good conversion of very large subregions
(*) fixed lockup from dragon fire modded civs in world gen army fights

Eternal halls has a ton of players signed up for it. We have already been through a time warp and angered the mountain god.

Anyone else having a problem with Companion and Windows Vista? Should I just uninstall all of the Python stuff then reinstall it and pray? The wiki tells me nothing.

Works fine for me.
Is it maybe because uh, you're using DF 39f? It's not compatible.
If not, use the all-in-one installer available from the wiki page. That's ALL you need to install, unless your computer decides to be junky and block the process from installing everything correctly.
