Re: Art Dump
I think I will work on that bald guy some more, bald heads are kind of fun anyway because they can be shiny and stuff.
Surprised the upper middle guy didn't catch neither of you guy's attention, he was the one I was closest to scrapping.

Re: Art Dump
Well, I thought about him, but it didn't bug me as much as the darky outlines on the left guy. Anyways, nice work as usual.

Re: Art Dump
Theses are a new type of dropship i plan to created as a mod in CC theses dropships have changeable parts like dropods and bomber units and many other things , they also have a Turret place on the bottom to shoot down any enemy units that may be in the area.
This is the Dropship with Dropods, and then the second is Dropship with Bomber modules

Re: Art Dump
That confused me for a while until I realized the image was rotated, I thought it was supposed to drive vertically into the ground and then deploy the pods, that would be cool too. The Ugly by request

Re: Art Dump
I don't think I've ever actually posted any art here. Maybe once. Anyway. Paul Robertson's style is fun to imitate. That's pretty much all there is to say about that.

Re: Art Dump
This coming from a community for a game including Sandra? Seriously though, yeah, they don't exactly look structurally integral. They're sort of a larger version of what Leia has going on in Star Wars. I figured when it comes to anime, hair is kind of exaggerated anyway, so it isn't outside the realm of believability. Unless of course you were talking about her boobs, in which case the previous sentences probably sounded exceedingly creepy. It's actually pretty hard to make them look somewhat normal because of the amount of pixels I have to work with - the main issue is the borders. That said, I changed how the shoulder connects a little, so maybe it's better now. The only other option is to make them insanely big, which seems to be going a little too overboard.

Re: Art Dump
Hm... It could use some AA, and some of the shading is a bit odd, but I like it, TLB. (EDIT: on your two girls in swimsuits.) Also, I guess Pete can have his pixel breasts now. :3

But yeah, the hair didn't bother me at all, but the... things looked a bit, well, banana-shaped to me. (Now this sounds downright creepy. ) Also, Sandra ftw. U no criticise her, bro.

Re: Art Dump
I think the main problems cropping up here are because of the dark background actually. This whole time I've been posting it to TIGSource and spriting it against a white/grey transparency. I fixed a few pixels now and I think it works a little better, but definitely try viewing them against a white background for a better idea of what they (by which I mean the girls themselves, thank you very much) should look like. Also, MLC, I would usually put in more AA, but I was trying to imitate Paul Robertson's style for this one. That consists of 3-4 shades per colour, and a 1px black outline that doesn't deviate at all. It was an interesting challenge, though, and I think limiting myself a bit actually helped to produce a somewhat better piece of spritework.

Wow when I saw that I thought it was you posting PR's sprites to make a point or something. Good work TLB.

Re: Art Dump
TLB the issue with the breasts I think is that the deltoid area of the right arm looks like either the bikini backstrap or an extension of the breast's edge coming up towards the should when not at 2x or higher, which makes it look distorted. I laughed about the Sandra ref though.

Re: Art Dump
Moved a few more pixels. I think it looks a bit more natural, but man is it hard to make the backstrap look normal.
