Someone got arrested for jaywalking, and there is a barricade by the police right now.

EDIT : He is winding down after doing quite a couple of these without sleep or eating.

I'm going to watch it and comment the interesting stuff.

You probably just saw some guy get beaten down by the cops and arrested.

Man, I hate protests and stuff like that a lot, they always make cops look like the bad guys.

I usually support police in all cases, but this just seems different. The cops are being very hostile indeed.

Well, they have to do their jobs, that's all. They also treat criminals with hostileness, because that's like the only effective way of controlling them.

If they were there saying "Please, go home" no one would listen them. They've just got to control the public order, that's all.

In my country we've been having problems with the educational system, and we've had around 6 or 7 months with protests and stuff. In the end cops look like the bad guys, but in the protests ♥♥♥♥ always hit the fan and badly. There are always guys destroying public property or even throwing molotovs, even though protests are pacific, there are always guys that join to ♥♥♥♥ things up.

But protesters are not criminals, last time I checked.

I mean that hostileness is like the effective way to treat with protesting mobs.
