The problem with those kinds of party's is that everyone is trying to prove that they're no longer kids. And the way they do it is by drinking lots and lots until they can't walk straight and usually end up pissing them selfs.

But hey, now they're adults with all the booze consumption and soft drugs.

Grif, if you are of voting age and do not go out and vote in favor for this, I will find you and beat you.

No reason not too, double no.

Living in the Netherlands, I must say it's not legal here instead they just don't even try to prosecute you anymore. And for some reason, they have a law that prevents coffieshops to be within a 500m radius from a school. And thus they admit coffieshops.
I Love my country, except that they are trying to ban the internet.

You drink a bit, get tipsy and all bold. At this point, you are "buzzed" and you feel great, more bold and uninhibited and all that. Drink more and you get drunk. You begin to lose coordination in movement, thinking, and speech, while feeling slightly less more great. Drink still more and get seriously drunk. You lose pretty much all coordination, feel like ♥♥♥♥, and will probably throw up, crap your pants, embarrass yourself, or most likely, all three at the same time. go to bed.

Edited to reflect my relationship with alcohol.

The thing with alcohol is the more you drink the better you feel, so you kinda got it right by striking out the "less" great, you only feel bad when you wake up in the morning. Also people have written that you crap your pants and piss yourself if you get drunk, that's simply not true (on average) unless they are absolutely completely annihilated, and even then it's got to be extremely rare, but you're throwing it around like it's a common occurrence.

The first time you seriously drink you probably will get wasted, but after that people usually learn their limits (most people will likely still get drunk but nothing so extreme), that said women do seem rather more likely to just keep getting completely wasted and throw up and lose all coordination, at least from my experience. Also I know this one guy that makes himself throw up after he's been drinking, and this other guy I know always used to just get really depressed when drinking and just slump down somewhere (as in just sitting down somewhere, not because he's drunk or anything), I found that kinda weird.

And then there's the people that say they wont drink are are likely afraid of getting pissed and doing something stupid, or more likely resent that people go out to get drunk and think that you don't need beer to have a good time, but then they always end up drinking later at other parties or something and realize that having just a couple of drinks is fine and makes you socialize more. (I was one of these types of people at first) Also I think drinking on your own is stupid, there's literally no reason to do it, you start making it a regular thing and you're bordering on being an alcoholic.

Well true, there's no reason to "drink" on your own. But enjoying a nice cold beer or a glass of gin every now and again is hardly a bad thing. I usually drink a beer a day if we have some, simply because it is a tasty beverage.
