1st Granite, 1054.
Okay, what in the name of Armok happened. I thought I retired.
Now I have to put up with managing this fortress after I was
finally able to stop thinking about how it actually might work?
This should be interesting, apparently we have marksdwarves, I
don't actually know how we made the crossbows, or the bolts, I'll
look into the produciton of these items later, right now I am
going to try and make sense of the rediculous construction that
was started last year.
10th Granite, 1054.
I normally don't like to write so often, but I think that these
odd human merchants warrant it.
THEY ARE NOT LEAVING, A FEW ARE IDLING AT THE EDGE OF OUT TERRITORY
WAITING FOR THEIR FRIENDS THAT REFUSE TO GET OUT OF THE TRADE DEPOT.
I checked in on the merchants at the depot and found that they were
"stunned." I have no idea if he is stunned from getting beat ofer
the head by a goblin or if it has something to do with our marvelous
architecture, but he's really got to snap out of it. He's going to
make himself and the others die of thirst or hunger at this rate.
14th Granite, 1054.
THe elves arrive, apparently the aggression my heirs showed did not
irk them much.
22nd Granite, 1054.
Siezed a bunch of stuff from the elves, two cloth bins, some wood,
and five berries, to be exact. The humans are still loitering.
6th Slate, 1054.
Immigrants. 23 of them. Just finished with the initial sorting.
Lots of new recruits, and a dungeon master.
With 104 dwarves living in the fortress now, I haven't a clue if
there are enough beds.
And now checking through what sorts of dwarves we have, and their
rooming...
What the heck is going on here? Whoever managed this fort decided
that recruits need bedrooms, tanners are actually important, not
to mention milkers. If it comes down to it I could probably find
another dozen useless dwarves to recruit. As it is, I will leave
them to haul stuff around.
16th Slate, 1054.
While mining out the Dungeon Master's rooms, we ran into a ruby
cluster, I had the miners hang back until this legendary "Daman"
character came around to deal with it.
