Shanlot; I can at least moderate. I have no qualifications to administer, but I have no social life and have a neigh-obsessive compulsive urge to check websites.

Re: The Cortex Command Mod Repository
Something tells me this is completely retarded. Shanlot's probably using some half-assed software to make a site that shows mods. Look at his post earlier on. He wants you to email them to him so he can upload them. This is stupid. He probably doesn't even know how to code an uploader.
And look at the admins he selected. What a ♥♥♥♥ failure. First of all, shanlot, you wouldn't be getting any power over it. Wizardjames would decide who gets power once it's hosted here. You're just the one that is supposed to be coding it.
Whitty wouldn't get power. Thanatos wouldn't get power.
If CherryT came back, it'd be a blessing. Also, my computer is borked and I doubt I'll be posting much until the end of January when I might have enough cash to buy a new computer.

WizardJames isn't hosting it here, for some reason. He's already decided.
And yes, something besides Joomla is required, maybe I'll try to finish mine by the time I have to restart work.

Oh yeah I'm an admin already so apparently your summation of me differs from Shanlot's.

Once anything's set up, let me know. The response might be a tad delayed what with holidays and such, but I'll do what I can to help set up themes and categories.

Even though we might be the best qualified, you're willing to promote unqualified personnel because you don't like us. That shows a lot of things: a) a lack of true dedication to this project, b) complete ignorance, and c) utter immaturity. Or maybe you're just trying to be a troll, which is the more easier to accept answer.

Re: The Cortex Command Mod Repository
(Orindell; You don't capitalize the words after commas.) Alrighty, I'm going to input my thoughts into this, and try to be unbiased as I can. Shanlot. I've not seen him do good or bad, but he's writing the damned software. It would be pretty ungrateful of us to just say no to him. I say give him a chance, if he ♥♥♥♥ up, we fix his mistakes and appoint a replacement. Thanatos. Oh god no. I personally have nothing against him, despite popular opinion, but he has a bit of a revenge drive that makes him ignore all reason. He nearly got himself k-lined from SynIRC for breaking the charter, because he had to get revenge. Whitty. Oh dear lord why was he considered? Whitty could run around with neon lights spelling "retard" glued to his forehead and look less dumb. Sorry, Whitty, but you don't relay a good impression, and your reviews look really bad from people who have personal experience with you. Also, you need to know that people can't always see their worst traits, so by arguing against it you'd just look childish. ProjektTHOR. Well, Thor and I have had a bit of a rough patch recently, but I honestly think he'd be a good admin, not only because of his incredible experience with the technical aspect of websites ( College, ♥♥♥♥♥es ) but also because Thor knows how to balance his admin powers and his forum behavior. Thor, in my opinion, would be a great admin. Grif. Ah, Grif. Grif Grif Grif. Troll, Flamer. Eloquent genius, incredible debater. Whether or not you like him, you have to give him some respect. He manages to play with words like knives, pirouetting and flipping in elegant battles waged with words. But about him being an admin: I say Grif is just a damn good moderator. He can step back and remove emotion from the equation and look at the facts, a skill I sadly do not possess. Grif may be a troll and a flamer, but he's a good admin. I wholeheartedly support him. TheLastBanana, or TLB. Well, I know he's a good mod, but I simply don't see him active enough to be helpful. I have nothing against you personally, Banaman, and in fact I like you as a person, but your schedule just disallows it.
My suggestion list for moderators is as follows: ProjektTHOR Grif Alenth Dauss Electroclan cambiogris
My reasoning for Dauss and cambiogris: Dauss. Dauss just really strikes me as the kind of person who can moderate well, speaking from past experiences. He can stand back from situations, mediate wars, and rarely gets into wars. Just an all-around good guy. Kind of like a more active TLB. Cambiogris. Cambio is just intelligent as hell. He can learn quickly, is a great thinker, as he thinks philosophically, and just quick to react. He's also fairly active. My reasoning for Electroclan and Alenth should be self-evident. Those are my thoughts on the situation. My fingers hurt. Oh yeah, and I'm always here.

Re: The Cortex Command Mod Repository
Agreed, Ophanim, my schedule is a bit odd, but it's... Recollecting iteslf right now. Also, in this case, I'm volunteering as an admin in terms of graphics and organisation. That means that once it's done, it's done for a long time, so my schedule won't cause problems. Plus there will be others helping. This is one case where my schedule will actually work with it, that's why I would like to be part of it

Re: The Cortex Command Mod Repository
Well, I agree almost completely with Ophanim, but just dont think the public (who are the most important part of a forum) would allow a Grif/Thor run administration. I mean really, think about it. So far we have had a Thor hate train with many, MANY people involved, plus a Grif hate train. Often people get very angry at both of them, for no reason yes, But it does happen, and when the public loses fate in the administration, you get revolt. Am I the only one one who remembers the Forum Reformers? Or a group I myself ran, the H.M.G? Both orginasations wanted change, and were willing to do anything to get it. And both came out of a lack of trust in the administration. Now I like and respect both Thor and Grif, but mark my words! Have a Thor/Girf administration and you will have nigh on open revolt! There is only so much an Admin or Mod can do! So please, Think and speak with a voice of reason! Thank you.

Re: The Cortex Command Mod Repository
Stop being so melodramatic. Also, Thor's and Grif's hate trains have been disbanded, and they were made up of whiny ♥♥♥holes who couldn't take an insult, and deserved to be banned. Noone has a problem with Grif, as proven by his attempt to get people to tell him what he does wrong in his topic. Very few people said anything. You're overreacting and living in the past, Orindell.

Re: The Cortex Command Mod Repository
Grif's hate train was actually started by him, he provided the userbars and everything.

Re: The Cortex Command Mod Repository
Way to fail. Hate train != Userbars. Hate Train = a group of people who hate someone.

Re: The Cortex Command Mod Repository
The "hate train" that involved the userbars was made up of SUPPORTERS of whoever it was, and they did it to make fun of the actual people who hated whoever it was.
