Re: Inception [SPOILERS]
What would happen if they were to star in the same movie? Oh god.

Re: Inception [SPOILERS]
Great movie. Best movie I've seen in a while by far. Not too much else to say. <3 Inception
Oh yeah but one thing: If the 5th level is limbo, then if they die in the first level, they jump to the 5th? Limbo being a level in itself didn't make too much sense to me, but otherwise it all did. :D

Re: Inception [SPOILERS]
Just saw it for the second time. It didn't get any better I'm afraid however it was still highly entertaining, however once you know all the terms and words the first 40+ minutes becomes slightly mind numbing.

Re: Inception [SPOILERS]
I'm a bit conflicted on seeing at again.
Like, I dunno, I feel like I 'got' it all the first time through; the plot was set up in a pretty manageable way, and I'm pretty used to organizing esoteric terminology in my head.

Re: Inception [SPOILERS]
Excellent usage of the main leitmotif. Used for punctuation at key points without being cheapened by overuse. Wonderful work-in of tilted horizons in a simultaneously impacting yet subtle manner. Interesting premise, though certain areas could have been further developed, as mentioned earlier in the thread. Overall a good movie. Would recommend.

It's a lot less awesome the second time around, purely because you don't get that new-information-which-must-be-understood-and-organized rush. And you know what to expect, which gets rid of the mind-blowing aspect.

Re: Inception [SPOILERS]
I suppose it'd help if you didn't understand it the first time, which is something I could see the general public doing.

However, it's Hans Zimmer, it's just loads of deep percussion and horns and chugging minimalist strings or special effects in the form of extended technique. I swear he's this decades John Williams.

Re: Inception [SPOILERS]
I just got home from seeing it, and I'm downloading the sound track as we speak. This is by a longshot the best conman/matrix-heist movie I've ever seen. My parents both have headaches though, and not because of Hans Zimmer's godliness. It's incredibly clear to understand from my perspective!
Old people these days...

Re: Inception [SPOILERS]
I just saw it a second time. It's actually kinda cool to catch things you wouldn't have noticed the first time. And it still manages to have a suspenseful feel to it, even when you know what's going to happen.

Re: Inception [SPOILERS]
Yeah, the backing track buildup and filming techniques would most definitely keep it suspenseful and tense regardless of foreknowledge.
