hmm what i like to do with eggs is throw 2 in a nice small pan add any leftover cheese(dont do anything sharp though) then you can either cover it for a nice egg/cheese patty(to put on a bun or bread) or mix it around for a scrambled egg style. also goes great with nachos if you add extra cheese.

Anyway, sandwiches count, right?
So, best thing with a bagel ever, provided you like fish:
(recipe is adapted from a nearby bagel shop; they call it the 'smokey joe')
Take a bagel.
Cut in half, as you would a roll.
Toast it to preferred brownness, or don't, especially if you want to eat it immediately.
Add cream cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion to taste; possibly pickled something. All vegetables should be crisp.
Add smoked salmon.
And, for extra awesome:
Add whitefish salad.
Eat ASAP; this gets soggy LIKE A ♥♥♥♥.

It tends to have an aftertaste of burnt ocean afterwards, but it is SO ♥♥♥♥ WORTH IT.
Also, don't use shitty bagels- if the outside is the same consistency as the inside, it's shitty. Don't buy in a grocery store, buy at a bakery, preferably a bagel shop where you can see huge vats for boiling.

Should I post my recipe for trifle, next? It's an English pudding of custard and fruit and jam and poundcake and whipped cream and cookie bits and booze.
Actually, that pretty much is the simplified recipe; just needs preparation and ordering.

the only sea-food I eat is batter-fried calamari, other than that, I hate sea-food... all of it... blech...

I've had crab, Didn't like it. I've had shrimp, popcorn and otherwise, Didn't like it. I've had sushi and almost threw up on my shoes. It's not that 'eww fish' its that I've been told 'here try it, its good' and I simply didn't like it THAT much. and as for 'cheesy fish-sticks' the only other time I eat fish, is those genaric fish-paties at long john silver. Chicken + fish + hushpupies = super greasy win. and death. Thats seriously all the fish I can stand. I've had lobster, and catfish.... NO.

DO NOT WANT.

fish is wonderful.(i can understand how people dont like it tho) for the above bagel sandy try to get locks(thinly sliced smoked salmon) instead of just a hunk.
for other meat i prefer sausage(that one gets at a butcher or deli) sausage is great and goes well with any meal.(even quarter up some chunks and throw in a salad!). the best meal i ever had was penne alfredo with shrimp and small chunks of sausage.


also sauces.
whats your favorite?

Who's tried kangaroo? It's the only national emblem you're allowed to legally eat. It's not that bad, it's ridiculously lean... you gotta make a nice slow cooked stew for it....

On an entirely unrelated note, who here has devoted an entire weekend to trying different variations of ramen? I would say that I no longer love ramen, but I would be lying. Except Korean ramen. I hate it when I can't taste for the next two hours because my taste buds have been reduced to charred holes.
Adding terriyaki sauce to ramen is amazingly tasty.
