I don't really care about it having cymbals. Its about having fun, and I have more fun with Rock Band.

Except this discussion is about which one is better, not which one is more fun.

Technically, when it comes to video games, the more fun it is, the better it is.
As you see, video games that are more fun than others are usually better.

This isn't about a game, though.

It's about a peripheral.

Or the game's drumsets?

Wat?

I bet you can't play the Gerudo Valley theme on RB2.

I don't know what that is.
My music knowledge is about as big as Japanese businessman's penis.

It's the Gerudo Valley theme from Legend of Zelda.

High Way Star was rated as an "impossible song", which is funny, because it really isn't that hard. Rock Band lacks really hard songs that are fun at the same time. I've heard that Thrasher and Constant Motion are incredibly difficult, but those are two songs, and GH:WT has Hot for Teacher, Satch Boogie, Trapped Under Ice, Pull Me Under, and Anything. Death Magnetic has several hard songs, just not as hard as the latter. RB2 is just the same as RB1, but with mor songs and the world touring online. GH:WT has a song maker, an instrument customizer, extended sustain notes (holding a note while playing other notes at the same time), and probably the competitive player's favorite is the 2v2 pro-face off online. Oh yeah, the drums have an extra thing too, so it makes the experience much more difficult.

tl;dr: RB2 is 1 with new songs; whereas GH:WT actually does something new.
