Yeah, theres a few people who are mean. But only when they need to be, besides it's usualy constructive criticism. Grif for example.

Anyway back on topic.

Gotcha speaks the truth. I very nearly didn't sign up for just this reason, and I personally know (that is, in real life, not online) two people who mistakenly believe that the hostility and, let's say, "overly-emotional moderation" on this forum is representative of the entire Cortex Command community.

Now, my own experience has been much more pleasant than I thought it would be, but if I was hesitant to sign up, how many others are there who lurked for awhile and decided, "aw, screw it, I'll go download Liero or Dwarf Fortress"?

Every time you see a clueless newbie and question his sexual preference instead of calmly and rationally explaining how he could be a better poster, you're costing Data a sale. 90% of the posters on this forum are pleasant people, but it's the other 10% who create lasting impressions.

I'm pretty bad for judging the person for their avatar. I have no idea why. But I usualy change my mind after reading a few posts.

No, but I don't like your avatars. Link was the best one.

Guys, this isn't a popularity discussion, and no one cares about your avatars.

The topic: Tim's ruling, and not the rules in general.

His rules have been fair in my opinion, he's never gotten onto me for anything so I like him. Good avatar too

But Alenth on the other hand, is not fair.

What about ma avatar Krumbs?

On topic:
Tims mods are great and his moderation is fair. He helps fight the forum elitism. I agree with his judgement completely.

I think Alenth is as fair as any other Moderator/Administrator.
Hey electroclan, How'd you become Admin?

Lord Tim is a really fair moderator.

Electroclan left a while back.

Pyro's been begging for a ban for a while anyways. On the other hand, this thread should not even exist.

bull♥♥♥♥. This entire topic is full of that.

We're not Data's salesmen. Sorry, we don't get paid to try and get people to buy CC. If someone doesn't buy an OFFLINE game because the COMMUNITY is not helpful then they are so dense they don't deserve to have internet. People get helped when they have valid questions that can't be answered by searching or using the wiki. If they decide to make ♥♥♥♥ posts and get flamed for it in the mean time, it's not our fault.

And alenth is the best mod there is on the forums. You've got no ♥♥♥♥ place saying that Krumbs.

He might be a fair moderator sometimes, but topics like this are still abuse of power.

fair != good
