Re: Fun Old-ish Games
Wow, i can't believe that no one mentioned the good, old and original Command & Conquer... I remember many hours playing that game... Also, Quake 2, Die By The Sword and Worms (Early series). Good times, good times... *Dreamy face* As a matter of fact, i can't remember a lot of the early games i played

I loved worms, there was a map that had a turd with a straw coming out of it.
So many many maps.

Re: Fun Old-ish Games
Some earlier mentioned great ones: Scorched Earth - Definitely awesome. I recently acquired it again, only to find out it doesn't quite display properly on my laptop. The right-side of the game goes off-screen, and I can't seem to fix it.
Worms - 'Nuff said.
Quake 2 - <3 After beating the game countless times, I would run around with notarget on, shoot an enemy, then hide behind another one so that when he tried to shoot me, he'd hit the guy I was hiding behind. Then that guy would shoot back, and I'd let them battle to the death. I held tournaments and everything. It was a shame the levels were designed such that nobody could ever beat Tank Jr..
One game I didn't see mentioned here was Little Big Adventures: Relentless, and Twinsen's Odyssey. I didn't finish the second one before moving, and unfortunately misplacing the disc, and to this day, have no idea how it ends. :<

Re: Fun Old-ish Games
lol, rant ahead, proceed with caution and possibly most likely very bad grammar.
Digimon World for psx... the only decent game containing the word "Digimon", I still have it. I played digimon world two and... WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥, they completely murdered the game and turned it into some cruddy pokemon rip off, which digimon was already criticized for, and for some unknown reason had worse graphics.
I don't even like digimon or pokemon, and I never brought any trading cards and whatnot, the only related things I have bought are the games, digimon world and pokemon crystal, I thought pokemon was a boring collect em up, and digimon was an awesome adventure game with a pet you go around with and look after, although you did not directly do anything in combat, WHICH IS A GOOD THING, because you cannot directly control any animal.
I still like digimon world, although there is a connection with it being childish, I would say that maybe the latter and more recent games, but it is a real good game.

It doesnt matter if it's kiddie, gameplay is what counts. Something that the Neds at my school seem to have a hard time grasping.
Bloody 50 cent bullet proof.

Nobody said Lemmings? I remember that game with my little cousin yelling "VIVA ESPANIA. DAADADADADADA" in the background.

Re: Fun Old-ish Games
I remember going to my cousin's house when I was around 4 or 5 and remember my older sister totally whooping my butt at these games. After I learned how to play this game I became a Donkey Kong Country fanatic. Very powerful. This is the reason I like Kirby so much, because this was one of the first GOOD games I ever played. This is fun to WATCH. This game was hard for me, especially when I was, like, 4. How is this not illegal?
