I just want a rifle, something simple, like uh...
I don't know much about rifles, the only one I know that caught my eye was the RSASS, and I only know about it because it was in a SVN Tweet.

I had an argument with a friend saying that the Remington MSR and the Cheytac Intervention are the same rifle.

I also love the feeling of proving myself right and my opponent wrong in these debates.

In my opinion, the RSASS looks better.

Would it be possible to buy one of those?

What, are you going by looks and a Tweet?
Have you actually studied anything about guns, especially the RSASS?

Asklar, it's a little silly to be annoyed at people for not memorizing where you live and trying to make that clear, while next to every post, your location is set to something irrelevant.

Also, for a rifle, what would be ideal would depend highly on its intended purpose. What would you do with it?

I'd just like it for a thing of possesion, zombie/alien/communists invasions and maybe hunting.

Ah. Well in that case, paying high dollar for something made for long range precision such as that RSASS you mentioned is a impractical choice, especially from a financial standpoint.
That's sort of like buying a race car in case you want to go on a cross-continent road trip someday, or something.
But if aesthetics really are a big priority to you that overshadows others, then I guess there's not much of an discussion to be had about it.

Also it's not exclusively a financial matter that makes that rifle less than ideal for someone who doesn't frequently use it and keeps it for general emergency preparedness, but whatever.
