Well if they claim it they take precedence over me. But anyways, thought we were doing it as a claim kind of thing. Like, while one person is taking their turn, next person claims, and they go next, continuing on etc.

Yeah, he's ♥♥♥♥ horrible. He can't tell what is a well because of that shitty noob gfx pack. I vote anyone who uses gfx packs = gets kicked out

Well I vote they don't.
I don't use one, but that's a stupid rule.

Not a stupid rule when the graphic packs disable your ability to see stuff that someone with ascii could easily see. Ex: Well, Fortress architecture etc.

So uhhh, I just realized, I'm leaving for NH for 2 weeks today....

A+. They can just download the old file and make updates that actually tell us what's going on. Hopefully they'll be using ascii too rather than those horrid graphic packs.

Sorry but as I recall the rules were:
"I think DRL needs a succession game. No mods, no prospector, no reveal all."

Graphics are definitely a mod only needed by people not good at the game. Sorry to tell you, but you opted in to succeed on the basis of these rules anyways. Learn to read.

Graphics packs do make it hard for others to see what's going on. Daman's being a ♥♥♥♥♥ about it, but that's Daman, but yeah, I agree that everyone should try to use ascii.

1. People on the forums can now see what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on.

2. ASCII sucks, the GFX make it a better looking game. Quit acting like I took christmas away.

3. If you don't like it, I have a solution. Don't use them. I just like to use them because it makes the game look better.

4. GFX is hardly a mod, because it doesn't change gameplay AT ALL. It just upsets you because it's different and strange.

Doesn't matter, it's a mod, you're disqualified for using it. The rules were no mods. Deal.

If people on the forums really cared they would probably be DF players and thusly would know what the ascii means. It looks better in ascii anyways. If the forumites really cared they could go render it in 3Dwarf really quick and look at it like that instead. A++

No ♥♥♥♥ I didn't write the rules? Those rules are directly quoted from Alenth, the starter. Graphic sets are definitely mods as they MODIFY THE GAME. Hurrrrrr. Mods is short for modifications. Gee I think changing the way EVERYTHING LOOKS is definitely MODIFYING the game.
