Or you could like, not be inept and notice the DOOR THAT IS OPEN TO THE RIVER.

Or you could, I don't know, just go with it and find some way to fix it.
Even go as far as to evacuate the dwarfs and dig in somewhere else.
That's how succession games work.
You get what someone else made and you work with that.

Actually no, it's your fault you left it open without telling anyone it's open why it's open or to close it.

Or it's a combination of both your faults, plus that of those that set up the game for not stipulating the general principles of the succession game.

Now just keep going with it. Remember, losing = fun. Even if it's not your fault.

Post Re: Dwarf Fortress
When i try to start the game it gives me a CC-like error that says:
Quote:
Main index file missing/corrupted. The file "Index" must be in the data folder. Make sure DF decompressed into its folders properly.

It seems like the Null.bmp of DF so forgive me if I'm an idiot. Also, how am i supposed to know if compressed properly?

I hate to point out the obvious, but the only reason that error ever occurs if you don't extract DF from the ZIP or you delete a file you shouldn't have.

Agh. They're upgrading the DF forums.
No updates from that front for a bit.
Preliminary army arc update is supposed to be hitting pretty soon.
Who else is excited?
(For me, only because it puts us one step closer to Adventurer Skills Arc/Caravan Arc..)
