I can see your improvement taking place but honestly "being bored" is the most overused, uncreative and annoying excuse for opening up paint and drawing I've ever heard.

Also, I got accepted into the vocational art program at my school. If I can get my scanner working, I may upload some of the art I make there.although it isn't until next school year...

The aliens in D9 had basic human anatomy. The weapons were made for humanoids. therefore it would follow Grif and his know how. And if it were real futuristic weaponry, I would expect greater functionality. look at Dead Space for example. it used mining tools, made the tools somewhat useful for the job they performed(idk what the flamethrower would be used for if there wasn't oxygen on the planet in places other than the colony[almost killed me in a decompressed room], please enlighten me), and they still looked cool.

And personally, in a movie setting, I hate seeing the grunts just fall over that were in well trained armies.

Ok, you were bored I got that part, I believe you. I was suggesting omitting that part because it sounds like what a pre-schooler would say right before attacking some construction paper with a crayon. I'm just tired of "LOL BORED DECIDED TO DRAW SUMTHIN".

Why are people quoting without saying anything? Is it the new style of agreeing with the statement without having to put fourth a gram of effort?

My approach to art IS attacking with crayons. So I guess your observation is correct.

what are you trying to suggest madmax? you shouldn't draw if you are bored? or that you should always "attack" art in some kind of thought out manner?

I'm not trying to suggest anything, I'm saying I don't care whether you were bored, happy, ♥♥♥♥ up, high or dead, you decided to draw. I will suggest that saying you were bored makes it sound like you would only draw as a last resort.

I don't care how you go about attacking your work, I'm just saying no one cares what state you were in that caused you to proceed to it. You don't hear anyone going "Yeah I was taking a dump when suddenly I was hit with artistic inspiration." so why do we need to know if you were bored?

uh madmax since you seem to be totally oblivious here's a head's up: nobody cares and you should stop talking as you are, as of right now, making yourself look like a fool even more with every post. Also shitting on the thread.
