Re: Fallout 3
Honestly, I prefer Oblivion to this, although both are lacking in the main quest.

Re: Fallout 3
This is a better game because swords suck. Guns are for real men.
Oblivion with guns is perfectly valid, and 1000x better.

Re: Fallout 3
You state as fact that Fallout 3 is a better game, whereas I was just saying I prefer Oblivion.
Did I say Oblivion was better? No.

Re: Fallout 3
fallout 3 was not anywhere near as good as I thought it would be at the very least.

Re: Fallout 3
I like Fallout 3 because I can live out my dream inside of a virtual game. I can dress up in a clowns suit, kill children, and actually drag their bodies all the way back to my "Abandoned Shack" that is filled with human carcasses. That I eat. Sloppily.
Fun game.

Except it is a great game and the only reason it wouldn't be as good as you thought it would be is because you can't run it at full speed. If you set your expectations to the screenshots and trailers, then it should meet them and more.

Re: Fallout 3
Sneaking in a super mutant infested building and playing tricks on them is so cool.
I wish i'd be able to throw and use random objects like coffee mugs and bottles to draw attention so I could lure people into traps without actually showing myself (and wasting ammo.)

Re: Fallout 3
Better stealth would make this much better, yeah. Now it's kinda that you go in the Chinese stealth suit, using a stealthboy and crouched, and a giant radscorpion notices you five miles away. Skill 76.
Otherwise, yes, nice game. I wouldn't want the console versions, I couldn't survive without the repair, drug, and nude mods.actually i somehow made children have nude skins in the game and i dont know how : |
Now, if I could get some city music from the previous games and the experience would be perfect. The ambiance in this game is boring.

Fun game. you cant kill children I have a super computer from the future. I run Crysis at max settings with no choppiness. Thus, I can (and do) run fallout 3 at maximum (pure maximum) settings. I seriously do have a super computer, it can run Crysis at max settings, no ♥♥♥♥.

Crysis is like fifty years old, my C64 can run that. Yes, you can kill children.

I have a super computer from the future. I run Crysis at max settings with no choppiness 1) You can. 2) You don't. A computer I have from 3+ years ago ran Crysis at max. And that's not even counting the terrible (non-existent) optimization of Crysis.

Re: Fallout 3
Do you use slave collars on children? Or at least, on Penny?
Also, it isn't from the future, but its a supercomputer.

leadpumper12 wrote: Also, it isn't from the future, but its a supercomputer. Um, yeah, considering they cost upwards of $8,000-odd, I utterly refuse to believe that. If you had that kind of money to spend, what would you be doing on an indie game forum? I also refuse to believe it until you provide specs. On-topic: I seriously kill faster with a 9mm pistol then with the minigun.. Something's wrong here. And Daman, that picture stretches the page like hell.

Re: Fallout 3
Gee Jay I wonder if he was exaggerating and meant he had a really good PC. Nah, couldn't be. He must be a lying liar and is trying to convince us he has a Cray! On top of it all, Cray's cost like a quarter of a million dollars. Not $8000.
