I laughed while playing it. The "Underside Safety Committee" signs are funny, the fourth-wall references are funny, and Life Toast and the Invincible Hamburger are funny. Humor in games is hard to pull off effectively without sounding forced, but you've managed to nail it. Bravo, sir, bravo. |

Re: Link Dump Conveniently I just finished playing Cave Story about a week ago and this game does not look better at all. Looks like a complete rip-off, I mean come on, using the gun to fly?
But I must play it before I can really judge it. |

A game that's SUPPOSED to play like Metal Slug. It's far from metal Slug quality, but it's still fun. It's a doujin game, free though. You play as a nun, with a gun. (LOL  LOL)And kill demons and save prisoners. Weapons include. A pistol. A Machine gun. Armor piercing gun. And a rocket luncher(Spelt it wrong on purpose cause the developers did) (I don't know if it's a parody of RAWKET LAWNCHAIR or if it's just the japanese). Vehicles includes: A Mech. Not gigantic, just human sized. NOTE:SCREENS IN THE LINKY |

The art style is (intentionally) similar but playing through the demo didn't feel like I was playing Cave Story. Using elements from another game doesn't instantly make something a rip-off. There are elements of Metroid in TU but I've never heard anyone say it's a rip-off of that. Yes, it is inspired by Cave Story among other games, but it's a fun game in its own right. |
