...On a more shiny note, sign me up for tile (3,7) in West Thoorburg if it, or the game, is still open to more folks. I'll have a rough something-or-other to pitch up in the morning.

I have to say, all this competition is awesome practice. Especially with the incentive of landmarks.

Re: DRL City! Turn ends next Wednesday!
I agree, with much enthusiasm, I already started working on my next building. I think this is quite fun, and we should add some more variables to it. Like somone else said, sports, or somthing of the like. I also think that franchises could be bought and sold or created for a certain amount of money. The owner of thus franchise would recieve X number of bonus money. For instace, if Kame Inc. Grew large enough to by other peoples buildings, the buildings would recieve a boost in profit, but would have to pay Kame X amount of money every month.

Better looking and no longer wacky clock tower. Still need to deal with the door and those bastard clocks though. Time to practice my AA, I think. Edit:Furthermore; Sorry about the quality. But hey!

Seriously? Some people are using Photoshop? How cheap. I'm doing this pixel-by-pixel in Paint :s

Re: DRL City! Turn ends next Wednesday!
You can do it pixel by pixel in PS too, just like I do it in Gimp.

Miles, remember that technically none of this is true iso, so you want to adjust by 26 deg instead of 30.

Re: DRL City! Turn ends next Wednesday!
I, too, use Paint. Oh, hey, the reason I ventured onto this thread was because I had a question to ask. Alright, so I'm doing a factory building, and I have a side building made of brick, and then the factory-part itself. I don't want THAT to be brick, too; I want it to be more...grey. But I can't think of a good material to use for this; cinderblock, maybe? Any ideas for what material I could use? EDIT: On the brick building, where on the roof would you put some pipes? I want to make the roof less bare, and aside from adding some cracks coming from under the roof A/C unit, I figured I'd add a bit of piping. So where'd you put that if you were me? EDIT2: Aight, now that I have the smokestacks in there, I can't pin it, but something seems wrong with the color. Does it need to be brighter? Darker? Do I need to shade it? What's the deal, do ya think?
