Melee - A blunt or sharp weapon? Handgun - A Colt M1911 or a Glock 21? SMG - An H&K UMP or an FN P90? (ridiculous choices, perhaps, but how fun would it be to unload a 50 round magazine into a tight crowd of zombies in 3 seconds?) Carbine - A Colt M4 or a SIG SG 500? (light) Machine Gun - An M249 or an H&K MG4? Rifle - A Lee Enfield or an M14? Sniper Rifle - An M40 or an AI AWM? Melee - Sharp, like an axe or something Handgun - I'd probably use the Steyr TMP. Small, compact, fairly accurate for a machine pistol, and can spit bullets like a ♥♥♥♥. SMG - H&K MP-5, Shoots around 800 RPM, so that's pretty much all that needs to be said. Carbine - H&K HK417, no reason necessary Machine Gun - Mk 48 Mod 1 Rifle - SCAR-H, Mk 17 Mod 0 Sniper Rifle - Steyr IWS 2000, BANG This is assuming that I have pockets like Niko Bellic EDIT: Benpasko, read this thread

That was delicously destructive to the self esteem of all weeaboos. I loved it. I'm not even gonna go into guns n' such that I would choose, since my knowledge goes to the point of "Point away from face, pull trigger". Melee weapon would be a crowbar though. Heavy enough to remove a brain by force, yet still usable for a variety of other tasks.

Ermm...I don't pretend to understand what a weaboo is, but I know a katana would work for cutting, and I own a few, which is why I said it. They're very sharp, fine swords, and are amazing for cutting through flesh and bone, which is all you'd need against zombies.

Re: (now a zombie killing effectiveness thread)
the expensive kind of katana would work. but i would much rather buy some crowbars at that point. blunt force trauma is always a good killer. and think of it, a masterfully made katana can cost 20K, while a crowbar can cost me 20$ or so. i would like to use tha 20k to fortify a house, buy equipment, or go have one last hoorah of a vacation before the world is over. now, if you really want to use a katana, go for it. it's not like the zombies are wearing plated armor. i mean, it would be nice, but you would have to sharpen it and clean it as well to keep the blood from marring the blade's quality. it just seems like a lot of extra work for not so much benefit.

My katana costed around 500 dollars, and is made of damascus steel. This thing can cut through anything short of metals(I think, I've never tested it on metal) And yeah, it would be worth the sharpening, because one shot to the head is a sure kill, with a crowbar, you can't be sure.

Also, think about this. Use a katana to pry a board off a door/window/crate, and you are likely to have a long piece of broken metal lodged in your eye. Use a crowbar, and the only thing lodged in your eye will be chunks of wood from the board you just pried off.

I'd love to have a katana of my own.
Knowing me, i'd probably cut my own arm off.
But you know, I'd be willing to take that risk.
Ben, don't worry, Grif is just being weird.

Ben, Grif is just being weird. Oh, alright. And yes, katanas are amazing. Also, has anyone mentioned the fact that they have a wooden scabbard, which could be used as a blunt instrument, if you really needed a weapon? It would probably break after 1 or 2 swings, but it could smash a zombie pretty hard in the face.
