Good christ, as if some MMOs aren't grindfests now, Atlantica is friggin' turn-based. I'll stick to WoW or Rock Band or something less boring for now thanks.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Atlantica Online?)
I tend to get bored of RPGs, single player or MMO, at about level 20 (of 100).
Only exception ever was Runescape when I was little I'm so sorry I got to 60 before I got sick of that.
I'm an FPS addict now, although I'd recommend checking out Wakfu, I'm in the closed beta and all I am legally allowed to/will say is that it's very good. But I still get sick of it alot.

So, despite the fact that it's heavily described on their damn website, you're not legally allowed to say anything about it? The hell? Err, almost 2 month bump. It was still on the front page. Not my fault GD slowed down.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Never gonna find one -.-)
List of MMOs that I have played then left: - Ragnarok Online <Holds a place in my heart, but I don't feel like grinding all over again>
- Maple Story <It used to be neat, nice, then all the noobs and hackers went in>
- Runescape <Its just... Old>
- Anarchy Online <Bloody freaking empty!>
- Zero Online <So after lvl 25 the game becomes completely PvP oriented? Yeaaaaa....>
- Mabinogi <Its great and all... But... There's no one to play with *sigh*>
- GunZ Online <MMOTPS, filled with noobs then I left>
- GunBound <Do you think I seriously want to go back there?>
- Rising Force Online <Good idea gone to hell, very little chance of ever returning>
What I am currently playing: - ACE Online <Having some doubts about this game, so you're a interceptor, or a VTOL, or a flying tank (FUN)... But it ends up being a creative grind fest of dog fighting the AI controlled planes, its a possibility for a keeper, I hear of nice PvP action...>
Preview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGNUc3_Y ... re=related Site: http://ace.subagames.com/ - Exteel <MMOTPS, very basic, I can't say much about it... I have this strange hate in some elements, but its satisfactory>

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Never gonna find one -.-)
Exteel isn't an MMOTPS. MMO suggests massive, as in lots of people in-game at the same time. Not lobby-based.
If Exteel is an MMO, then so is Call of Duty 4, or Counter-Strike, or TF2.
If you're looking for a GOOD lobby-based TPS: S4 League is the best there is.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Never gonna find one -.-)
I gotta admit, I waited for perfect world for about 5 months and then I finally got to be the 136th player on the closed beta server. (malaysia servers) I quit after they deleted my character in the end of closed beta.... But it was fun, although I got called gay a lot for being an elf mage. That reminds me... If anyone finds Gunster servers anywhere, please post. Loved the game but servers got shut down, so now I am looking for new hosters. As for the MMOs.... Huxley seems promising but not gonna be released for a while... Built on Unreal Engine 3 Cellfactor seems promising too, uses PhysX. Grand Chase, A bit lame looking, but still worth a try... I guess... Purge, seems fun, it's basically oblivion as a mmorpg, or not. Has guns too. Completely 100% free, no cash shop or anything. Neo Steam, Steampunk MMO, I dislike the rpg part but I love anything steampunk. Savage is basically a real time strategy shooter. Some players play as commanders who control units around while others run amongst the units playing as normal soldiers. Sounds fun, don't know if works. Well there you are, that's about all the MMOs that I find interesting currently.
