Anyone know the name/thread of the mod where you have some kind of mind control over any unit? Meaning controlling enemy units, using the mouse to drag enemy actors/dropships, controlling guns...

Hey, had an account here a long time ago, abandoned it (played CC since it was like, B27 or something, I was pretty active and hated due to my edgy-kid nature heheh), and got CC again, so just registered a new one.
I'm glad to see it's all alive, but it's not alive nuff, what happened?

I think "on life support" is more fitting than "alive"

Not enough updates, not enough modders, not enough interest in new mods, not enough people.

Well, it's good enough to bring me back, so I suppose there's still hope!
Tho I did see a lack of development in here... The game gets repetitive real quick now, so yeah, guess we could use some new stuff (I'm probably not the first or second to ask for this kind of thing)

The Steam workshop usually has new mods. Not a lot. But more than here if your looking for something new.

Post Re: The Lounge
They posted something about a new build coming up 3 days ago.
I've never really paid attention to that one. Can anyone sum it up to me? I saw it some time ago and thought it was intended to be for game devs and stuff, people who are good at creating (unlike CC, in which everything is already made, you just order and make the mess (in short, CC is less sandbox-ish)), but it doesn't look like that.
Yep, I'm a lazy ♥♥♥♥ asking for you guys to tell me what a game is about instead of looking it up myself.
It's just there's too much right now to see and I feel like the player's description of the game is more faithful to reality than the dev's.
And I hate gameplay videos.

On a side and unrelated note, I've been getting more and more intimate towards folk music, though I feel like I need some more knowledge.
So far I've listened to some old folk ballads, besides that I've always enjoyed folk metal (Finntroll is my fav), and I enjoyed Garmarna a lot. Also starting to know Gjallarhorn.
Thing is, I don't want to isolate myself in Scandinavia and Brittania, so I wanted maybe something different. Not that it isn't good, it's just too common and easy to find in terms of folk.
So I'm looking for some folk songs, those that make you feel different, as if you were trippin' and stuff. Also won't deny any folk metal.
Also, here is an example of...

Planetoid pioneers is similar to CC in many respects:
  • Deformable stuff (CC it's terrain, PP it's objects, and instead of pixels it's done via surfaces)
  • Very moddable (both are essentially purpose-built mods on top of an engine)
  • Community-contributed content (data hired people to make most of the content for CC, sounds like he's doing the same for PP)

11 years later, we might have a decent game to release early access for Steam.
