I've seen forum posts hypothesizing demanding that Karkat will get a massive nosebleed.

More or less, yes. Krabcake got hit in the face very hard with an object with extreme sexual connotations.

He didn't literally mean that buckets were condoms you dumb.
It's essentially on the same level of depravity, but it isn't the exact same thing.
Showing a bucket on national TROLLTV would be like pulling out your genitals on HUMANTV.

It's not exactly like condoms because apparently in this case the buckets are pretty much vital to having sex in some way that is never explained so I don't know maybe saying he got hit in the face by a flying ♥♥♥♥ would have been fairer but probably less tasteful
The injoke mentioned is therefore that trolls get really embarrassed about buckets lying around the place

I don't really like Rose x Kanaya or John x Karkat. Not that I'm against gay people (I have an intolerance for people who ARE with no reason. This happens to be 99% of gay hate. I'm against discrimination in general.), I just don't think that Rose or John would be gay, especially considering they have other pairs that would be hetero, and, that they seem to lean more against. (Rose and John, for instance, and John and Vriska would probably be the other one if she hadn't died. BECAUSE SHE DID, that would pretty much leave Rose, which is supposed to be how it goes anyway. (canonically at least))
