BTW Alenth: Quote: Spirit Speak:Not particulary useful. Lets you see what the dead are saying, as opposed to only seeing "oooooooo." (Update:Now VERY useful for Necromancers. Increases the effect of necromantic magic.)
No? Not at all. Eval int is an easy as hell spell to level. You can afk it. You can't do that for the others, so you should do them first so they level quickly.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
That game looks disgusting, and grinding only sounds like 'fun' if I was some sort of emo/cannibal.
Funtastic has a sick mind.
Why would we goto hell for cortex command anyways?
EDIT: ^not sarcasm^

Why would we goto hell for cortex command anyways? I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not, buuuuut, seeing as the modding community here has done nothing but create new and inventive ways of blowing off the heads of soldiers, squishing them, shredding them, exploding them, and all the rest of the crazy stuff, you'd think god would be all "Whoa, thats gotta be the biggest group of repressed psycopaths I've ever seen. I'm not lettin' them touch heaven with a 39 and a half foot pole." Besides, the M rating has so far kept all the pre-pubescent players off the servers, or at least most. EDIT: jaybud4 wrote: Requiem servers launched last night at 9 PM CST... I tried to get on and succeeded. But there was no chance in hell of getting free of killstealers, as there were hundreds of people in the starting area. It's probably better by now, but yeah. See my previous post on Requiem for infos and links. I see what you're sayin Daman. What server you on jaybud?

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Ultima Online?)
I tried requiem briefly today, it reminded me of lineage 2.
Seemed to be a serious lack of guidance and background at the start of the game at least.

Looks like it's going to be another enormous download that noone will want to do.
And then when it sucks everyone will hate you even more.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Atlantica Online?)
I'm not going to quit this one, though.
It's got my dream battle system, and in essence it's everything I've ever wanted in an MMO.
...
Also we're about due for another shot at a DRLMMO.

Re: MMO Discussion Thread (Atlantica Online?)
Ahaha. Holy ♥♥♥♥ I knew I forgot something.
I'll add it to the OP.
Random note: Just reached level 10, my fourth mercenary is a shaman, so I don't have to waste my life (and wallet) keeping my dudes alive.

You say "I won't abandon this one" about every new MMO.
