Re: The Lounge
I won't be getting anything this sale, saving up my pennies to buy RAM, since there's absolutely no point in me buying the games I want...since I can't play them without at least four gig of the stuff.

Re: The Lounge
What a coincidence. My birthday is the day that Summer Sale begins! So you know guys, you can gift me games! Or alternatively, a happy birthday will do C: :CCCCCCCCCCCCCCC

Though I am too cheap poor to be able to buy you anything, I happily offer to write anything you give me a prompt for - though it probably won't exceed two thousand words :p

I personally can't think of any real reason for it being a problem - strategy games are always better on the PC, not to mention it tends to make things much easier for modders to go at the game. I just hope someone mods in some of the fancy stuff from Apocalypse, since that game was a decade or more ahead of its time.

Re: The Lounge
Sale comes up and as usual there's nothing I want. Having money sucks because you buy the things you want immediately and then sales aren't as fun. I say sucks semi-sarcastically because the above is true but I also have money, so there's that.

The games are really good, and I absolutely love the CYOA quest system built into the game.

Re: The Lounge
Not my cup of tea at all. I like my strategies grand in scale and sci-fi in nature if possible. Medieval-level strategies are some of my least liked of all time (with the exception of AoE2 for nostalgia's sake), even with magic to spice them up a tad from the usual crusader kings/civ fare.
Medieval-level books on the other hand, with a good bit of magic strewn in, are A+. I shall forever love Jack Vance's forays into might and magic (Dying Earth collection, Cudgel the Clever) and the adventures of Kedrigern, among many others that I can't remember the names more authors of.
