Gigantic stupendous humongous nerd. Congrats, though. In other news, I moved, and now I have a first floor and a second floor.

Re: The Lounge
I remember posting that image here before Anyway, revived my NationStates account and did some math behind the nation's military. The country has a GDP of 1,502 trillion stars and the government budget is only 8.8% of that at 132 trillion stars...and of that, 47.3% goes to defense. That's 62 trillion spent on defense. For reference, the US only has 610 billion invested in defense and that's the highest in the world. The reason for this is the extremely high population of my nation, a good 4.896 billion inhabitants, so we're a little off five billion people and still less than the Earth's current population if not by much. Going by 2% (12% of the US population was in the army during WW2, so this sets a good benchmark for the amount of soldiers in peacetime.) of the population, this means the entire size of the army, including active duty combat personnel and support personnel such as cooks, mechanics, drivers and so on is...97,920,000 people, or ninety seven million and nine hundred and twenty thousand if you would rather have that in words. So...in conclusion, I have a lot of dakka.

The Chrysalid just wants some love. Remember those good old terror missions where the Chrysalid gave everyone hugs and one shotted people in the best armor in the game and could one shot a tank? I do :p

Seriously though, XCOM 2. I don't usually get on hype trains, and I tend to avoid preorders. But everything I've read about it has me excited. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm pretty excited for this too, and the only other game I'm hyped for is HoI4, so that I can plough the USSR down with panzers again. Still, need more RAM before I can do that :p
