Re: The Lounge
Just got up, saw another spider on the wall while getting out of bed. Larger than the others, with longer legs and a generally bulkier body than the others, probably female.
And worse, I saw it carrying something before I took it out.
If I am seeing this many of them, how many could be going unseen? This is one of the few problems with the UK; we get a lot of rain, but we never seem to get mosquitoes, but the amount of rainfall means we get gnats instead, who promptly get chomped by spiders...who seem to have no predator of their own.
So springtime and summertime for the West Midlands consist of spiders.

Next time something is racist/sexist/homophobic I'll be sure to check with you to make sure it's actually racist/sexist/homophobic. Baltimore was in the news for riots, right?

Re: The Lounge
Okay, if people really think like that then yeah, I'd probably make fun of them - although aside from Mr. MLK, I'm fairly sure the first two were supposed to push peoples' buttons.
PS: finished my first semester of college (finally), now I just wait till Friday/Monday to see what I managed GPA-wise.

I also tried to get into League after I had played a couple hundred hours of Dota, since that's what my brother prefers, but I didn't really like it. The fact that you had to either grind or buy heroes didn't really sit well with me, and in general the gameplay felt much slower and more focused on execution.
More people should pick up Company of Heroes 2, though. That game's multiplayer scene is slowly dying away. It would be a great shame to see it go the way of Dawn of War 2. league is slower? lol what? half the reason im enjoying league more than dota is because its so much faster league is like a deathmatch game, dota is like an rts I said it felt slower. Movement felt sluggish, and you don't have items such as blink dagger or force staff. CC is very limited, so ganks tend to be more drawn out and chase-y, rather than the faster stun fest ganks of Dota. Abilities in general seemed very watered down. The laning phase seemed to last longer than in Dota, too. Keep in mind I only played around twenty matches of League before I gave up. That might affect the impression I got by a huge margin. theres no blink dagger or force staff but a lot of champs have built in mobility and there is always flash for instant initiation or escape abilities in general are watered down early game because they scale with your stats. they also have shorter cooldowns so you can spam them more laning phase seems to last around 15-20 minutes in league, but it can be shorter or longer
