Re: The Lounge
Got a Walkers of London milk chocolate bar.
My ♥♥♥♥ god, this bulldozes Cadbury chocolate so much. Made from real cocoa and milk, not vegetable oils and all that gunk. It is like eating a cloak made from satin silk and cloth of gold.
It is magnificent.
And it was only £1! I don't usually like things they have in the south or the south in general for that matter, but this...this is something special.

So you're trying to ignore me, but are complaining about how I deleted you from my contacts? If you want to address me, please do it somewhere else so I can get out of the habit of going here.

Re: The Lounge
I am really dissapointed about how dumbed down Skyrim is in comparison to past Elder Scrolls. I mean it's still fun but there's no real balance whatsover, enchanting is even more op making leveling of any skills so easy, there aren't any factions that are mutually exclusive aside from stormcloak or the legion, the excessive amount of protected npcs.
Does anyone know if theres any mod that changes the leveling system or anything of the like? Even if its a huge game overhaul?

Re: The Lounge
The protected NPCs enrage me, there's a guard that patrols a road, which isn't killable under any circumstances, despite being used in only one quest. There's many mods that change the leveling system to one extent or another just scroll through the highest rated mods in the workshop and you'll run into a few.

Re: The Lounge
Yeah. I usually use SPERG myself, because it automatically grants many (useful) perks at preset skill levels, mixes up perks in general, and the remaining perks are more there for specializing as you see fit. You can easily adjust skill levelling rate settings as well via one of the other mods it relies on.

Not only that guard (from that Cicero quest where he is carrying a coffin right?), but also lots of citizens too, the commander of the guard, the guys that lick the jarl's boots, etc. I really wanted to make a ghost town or at least be able to kill all the witnesses of a crime, but nope. Who cares about not being able to finish a quest? Murdering someone is hardly done by accident, you should know that killing someone will have consequences, that was what gave Elder Scrolls games so much freedom imo. Dislike the fighters guild? Kill everyone. That certain character that gave you important quests isn't important anymore? Kill and loot. Want to trap Vivec's soul in Azura's Star? You can do it! Here you can't even kill citizens of no importance dammit. /rant Also Arcalane that mod looks super interesting but I'll look for somthing more restrictive, more like having classes again. It annoys me that my orc now is not only a heavy armor, 2 hander berserker, but after making enchanting, smithing and heavy armor legendary (which level up very fast without too much effort), I put most points in sneaking, destruction and some in illusion, making me a profficient mage and a sneaky character. Now the problem was that I was thinking about making a second character to be an assasin of sorts and I can already do that, as well as being a mage. Then the replayability of the game gets reduced to which race/sex you pick for the innate traits and powers they have since maxing all the trees isn't an incredibly tedious task, and picking stormcloak or legion, because all other quests have like one or two possible outcomes and doing them doesn't forbid you from doing other quests or affect their outcome. /rantrant Morrowind was best ;-;

Re: The Lounge
I haven't had a proper hate-fest on Skyrim in a few years while. I hate it when games have no level-cap or other method of discouraging being the best at everything, I was a blacksmithing, stealth-warrior, alche-mage that didn't even actually need magic because shouts are better in every way. The perks are god awful too, instead of weapons naturally getting better like in Oblivion or Morrowind, the only way to stay competitive is to get the boring ass +whatever% weapon damage perk a dozen times, instead of something interesting.
