Mmn, i really dont think they'd target servers very much. Gun stores and anywhere with food and drink yes (hell, we're planning on pinching some guns if we're holing up rather than finding the navy, arent we? Or, I suppose some people might already have some at their place), but a dingy building with nothing to offer but data and hardware? I can see people looting books from libraries for fuel, but not servers.. though again, I suppose some people would just want to ♥♥♥♥ up as much as they could before they died.

If in a city, the answer is simple: tall(ish) building with barred-off entrances from the bottom floor. Also, with a bit of luck, at least the nuclear power plants would survive, since they're more secure than Yahweh, so you'd also have power for that computer. The only problem with shelter would be if you were caught in the middle of nowhere, on a large plain.

4chan creates 69% of that sewage. Couple the removal of 4chan with increased sewage treatments plans, and we could keep the internets clean. Just dump the remainder of the sewage into Facepunch until we develop better recycling. They're large enough to take, handle, or ban it.

You're forgetting this is during the zombie apocalypse. Most of 4chan's population would be dead or trying to eat you.

about the wikipedia thing, don't forget books. books have useful things inside them too. like paper, and words.

don't forget hydroelectric dams, those could run for a bit as well. and seeing as this is a crisis, i'm sure power plants would be protected somewhat to help preserve the nation. such as keeping emergency broadcasts online and such, you want power so that people can actually get them. as grif said , the military is our friend (if we don't go pissing them off for no apparent reason.)
