Re: Fallout 3

Re: Fallout 3
Okay, so since Bethesda released the 1.1 patch, i was able to finish the game. Twice. And after my second try, at the end, i got the ending video and then i got a message saying: "Introducting Bink to Ending Sequence" and i appered in the Project Purity room, no HUD, couldnt do nothing except if i pressed E the character would make a choking sound. I was wondering if this was a bug or so or was i supposed to wait till something happened? I was like: Wait, why is this like... This? I thought if i kept making the chocking sounds someone would come to the rescue... Lol?

I also couldn't believe that at the end of the game, you couldn't have Fawkes (a supermutant that is healed by radiation) go into the chamber to activate the machine.
Made me rage a little.

Re: Fallout 3
I hear tell that in the third DLC pack, Broken Steel, Bethesda plans to retcon the ♥♥♥♥ out of the ending.
In other words, hurrah for surviving something easily overcome with drugs and a rad suit!

In the MINI-Expansion Pack broken steel, the level cap will also be raised from level 20 to level 30.

Re: Fallout 3
I'm a ladylike in this game, I pick up everything, and currently I'm stuffed with about 7 different weapons, 5 nukes and enough ammunition to start a small war. Which you can pretty much do in this game. Apparently you can, by picking up all the bobbleheads and skill books max out every skill.

Re: Fallout 3
Lol.. I kinda "cheated" to get all 20 bobbleheads I used a mod called BobbleheadsFTW that as soon as you leave Vault 101, there will be a small table to your left with all 20 bobbleheads... And i got the: Yes, I play with Dolls and Vault-Tec C.E.O achievments... Yay.

Re: Fallout 3
I'm a bit confused about how a nuke the size of a baby can weigh nothing yet a small component you tore out of an artificial person weighs a pound.

I'm a bit confused about how 10,000 rounds of ammunition that should weigh several ounces, plus an apparently infinite number of magazines, can weigh absolutely nothing. I'm also confused about keys having value.

Re: Fallout 3
...
Good point. Points.
On another, more deadly note, in the game it's 1,000 rads. How much radiation would it take, in real life, to kill you dead on the spot? I remember on Mythbusters they said 1,000 rads would kill in 10 minutes, so I'm interested to know.

Re: Fallout 3
I know, I know. I've got a few of the mods myself. But seriously, how much radiation would it take to kill you dead instantly?
