A lot of clouds and wind here in Finland, not raining or too cold though.

Re: The Lounge
Sydney, Aus.
It was raining. For the first time in a while.
I envy you people in other places. Also I hate Facebook. It's full of stupid people. Looking at it makes my head hurt. When will people realize the difference between 'your' and 'you're'?

Re: The Lounge
Everybody was making fun of Texas since we got about one or two feet of snow. But everyone doesn't know that we don't know what to do, during that kind of thing.
Sorry we don't know how to regularly chain our tires, Canada.

Re: The Lounge
Britain has the worst and inconsistent attitude to snow ever. It's only if we get mildly prolonged snow, like a week (pretty rare) that the schools realise that people can get into school real easy and it's just laziness. Yet every time they forget, and 1-2 inches can set the freak out meter on overload, despite opening during a longer bout of a foot or so.

Re: The Lounge
Where I live, school only gets cancelled if there's 4 feet or more. And it snows a lot here.

@Salt: Canada west coast. Near Vancouver.
School doesn't ever get canceled for snow here as TLB said. I think it happened once in elementary school but it was so bad you could hardly leave your house.
But to be fair the city's pretty good about clearing the roads asap.

Re: The Lounge
Right now I'm having a really nice sunny spring afternoon, with mild temperature, pleasant wind, nice humidity and birds chirping. Yesterday, though, it was so cold I could barely leave my bed. And the day before, it was so hot everybody was half-naked.
Oh also, I find it rather entertaining that schools actually close where you guys live. Down here, in the event of a catastrophic climate malfuction, all schools stay open, the students simply don't go to them.
