Re: Art Dump
I love it! Other than reminding me of *cough.hack:GUcough* it looks very original! The arms and legs just look very... good. I'm not sure why. Its probably how they look muscular, but robotic at the same time, while keeping with the mirror-forcefield theme. I really like the little wings at the hips, they add some much needed balance to the lightly armored legs. Brilliant. All I'd have to say is that the head needs to be more than just a giant mirror, maybe add some other details. The feet are also a little small for the humongous ankles. Also, the proper place to post concept art (unless you plan on making it yourself).

Re: Art Dump
Thank you!
I'm not sure I've seen .hack:GU is that one of the games or something?
The ankles are pretty massive but it felt stylistically right this way for me.
You could be right about the head, I might change it a little at some point
edit: about the concept thread, this concept is for my own game not CC.

Re: Art Dump
That armor looks great, Bubs!
One thing about it strikes me as odd, though: you've got the large circular disks (I guess those would be responsible for the force field) covering pretty much every possible target area, but the chest is wide open.

Re: Art Dump
Capnbubs that image has inspired me to practice my own art in hopes to get that good.

Re: Art Dump
That circular armor reminds me of the joints on some of the 00 Gundam units.
The lack of a face kinda bothers me, though; it's like a super-streamlined diving suit, one of the old ones, but with faceplates everywhere.
All the same, a great piece.

Re: Art Dump
This one's great, madmax. What did you did that with? A drawing that I'm working on. I don't know what the heck are those four bulbs on Sandra's hair so I can't continue. Anyone has an idea? Other suggestions are welcome.

Re: Art Dump
that is actually pretty ♥♥♥♥ awesome. the bulbs are buns of hair, pulled back to be out of her face for combat.

MS Paint as always. And that sketch is coming along quite nicely.
