 Re: The Lounge Round these parts it snowed TWICE in the last hundred years. And by snow I mean about 2milimeters, probably less.
I do love it when the negative temperatures hit us though.

Re: The Lounge Down here, it really never snows. Our usual winter temperature is... comparable to that of a mild british spring, I'd say. Even in my mountain workshop, it very rarely goes negative.
Every couple years, though, we get a knee-deep hailstorm, which is always amusing.
EDIT: On the southernmost provinces, though, there have been cases of people freezing to death just from leaving their houses. Rare, but they happen.
Oh also, how about summers? Our summers are like 32-33°C night and day, with crazy flooding and storms every day. It's pretty rad, except you sweat 'til you're almost dead.

Re: The Lounge I live on the west coast, so it isn't as gold as where TLB is, but it ♥♥♥♥ rains all the time. Worst thing is when it alternates raining and snowing. When it's cold all the water freezes on the sidewalks and you run the risk of a class pratfall with every step you take. Other times the snow can sometimes trap the water and not let it drain away, leaving you with deep pools of water.

It's pretty rare here, since we get very little rain, but the few times I've experienced that have been unpleasant at best.

I live in Mukilteo, Washington state its a nice little town that rains a lot, but its very green year round, plus I'm right near the beach.
