Re: The Lounge
The US at least has some players shaking things up, mostly Google Fiber making everyone nervous and hopefully starting some changes. Canada on the other hand, there are three major companies, all of them are ♥♥♥♥, and in most places one company has a monopoly so if you don't like them you're ♥♥♥♥.

AFAIK it's only like that in the middle of nowhere. And the same really applies to the US. Be far enough from population centers and you won't have much of a choice concerning your ISP

Natti wrote: Are you implying that internet connections in the US are any better http://www.netindex.com/download/allcountries/Canada's at 19.08 Mbps, the US are at 20.39 It's not much worse Of course this doesn't take into account things like data caps, prices and such, but from what I've heard those are pretty horrible in the US Where is this coming from? I have capless 50mbps internet without six step policies. You might be confusing the US with Australia. edit: looked at the website Being a west coaster, we have access to good internet (Cox), I could see where those results come from. Satellite internet, Centurylink and Time Warner, all that ♥♥♥♥. Midwesterners are too culturally slow to understand what good and bad internet is.

Your mom still uses AOL. And she does some sort of divining process to pick the right firefox window among many other instances.

Re: The Lounge
Today a bunch of students tested out the program I've been developing for the engineering department and all of them wanted to have a copy so they could use it in their homework (it was an app to do static truss analysis). Feels good man.

Today I beat a Lagombi in MH3U for the first time while waiting for my car to be washed. Now I'm going to pick up my dad from his colonoscopy. What is my life
