Re: Post Your Desktop II (watch out 56k-ers!)
The icons in the middle would usually be at the top but to show that bar they would be hidden... so I moved them.

I use a program called FindAndRunRobot, it's similar to Spotlight on OS X or Vista's Start bar, except you can set it to search any folder for any folder or file type. Basically you just press ctrl+space (or any other hotkey) and it brings up this: Type in what you want and press enter. It might not be as fast as icons for some, but I've gotten used to using it for everything, and it leaves a more aesthetically pleasing desktop for the few times I see it.

The image is apparently a view of Chicago in winter with, uh, ice. Did I mention it's winter? Anyway yeah.

Divreus wrote: Hello everybody! This is my first forum account and i only have one question...how do you post an attachment? Ok, first you need to learn what a file is. I'm not sure that you know what a file is. Then you need to know that uploading means sending the file to somewhere else from your computer. For example, you can upload the file to http://imageshack.us and they give you a link to the file. Ex: http://imageshack.us/pictures/yourfile.jpgThen you copy and paste that link into your post, and highlight it with your mouse. Then you hit the img button. To take a screenshot of your desktop you'd hit the PRINT SCRN button on your keyboard, then open paint and go to edit>paste. Then save it. Then upload it. Then put it in a post. etc.
