Re: Alabama Skip and Absurdedly Long Title. Turn around all actiony and challenge it to a Shoalin Showdown battle of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Use Rock, it works every time.
Alternately, turn around an just walk all cool like through the ghost beast, acting like you don't even know it's there. It'll get scared of your coolness, and kill itself with run away and drop a special item that you will need later for your adventure.
DO THIS PL0X (lol) I'd like to see Cinos' interpretation of this.

I doubt it knows Rock, Paper, Scissors. As an ancient shadow demon..snake...thing it obviously only knows the ancient game of Grasp, scroll, scissors!  GRASP BEATS SCISSORS!  Haha, that was almost insultingly easy.
