i think it is typical to upgrade every new OS... somewhere near 6-18 months of the new OS coming out...
Like... You bought a windows 98 9 months after 98 came out... then about 8 months after XP omes out its good to gt an XP mchine...

This computer is like 2 years old or so, the video card is like a year old.
It runs HL2 and TES IV well enough that I don't care to try and upgrade.

except the fact that the CPU eats my motherboard and i have to get a new motherboard every 2 weeks for it to work....
